I wonder which witness they are talking about? Just because the Judge is considering it, doesn't mean it is going to happen. I would think it would depend on how crucial this witness is. Going to try to look up more info.

"If it wasn't for the GPS, we probably wouldn't have found him guilty at all. The GPS proved that he was in Logan when he said he wasn't. He lied to police about it. The interesting thing is the GPS was the one thing he physically gave to the detective," Harmon said."
This was from a juror at the above link. I guess the witness they were challenging wasn't crucial to the conviction.

The trial for Sandra Inman was scheduled to begin Monday, but she already made a deal with prosecutors, pleading guilty to kidnapping and murder. She was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison.
15 years isn't enough.

Trial Of Elder Inman Moved To Ross County
A judge has decided that the trial of William A. Inman will be moved to Ross County.
Inman is charged with aggravated murder and other crimes in the March 2011 slaying of 25-year-old Summer Inman. He faces a possible death penalty if convicted.
Judge John T. Wallace granted a change of venue request in late August, after deciding that it was too difficult to find a jury in Hocking County.

Hocking County auditor: Inman trials top $150k
Hocking County taxpayers have paid $154,065 to date to prosecute the abduction and strangulation of Summer D. Inman last year, and the meter is still running as her father-in-law prepares to stand trial here in Ross County.
The final cost could reach about $200,000, including the trial next month of William A. “Bill” Inman, Hocking County Auditor Ken Wilson said today.
Inman appeared in a Ross County courtroom this afternoon for his final pre-trial hearing before his trial. The hearing was devoted to preparations for seating a jury.

I don't know about you, but I'd pitch in a few $$ toward getting this guy convicted.

My dearest brother recently passed away from ALS (AKA - Lou Gehrig's disease). It is an terrible disease without a cure, without a known cause, and is only diagnosed by elimination of other diseases. He is my hero!! He accepted the fact that he had to endure this disease, and he stayed positive even though I cried many times since he was diagnosed in early 2011. I know that he rests in peace knowing that he lived a good life here; and he will be blessed up there! May I always honor his memory in being a good person too!! I love you big Bro (also known as the gentle giant). 10/25/2012

Jury Trial For William Inman Underway
Opening statements for the trial of a Hocking County man charged with aggravated murder in the death of his daughter-in-law are underway in Ross County.
The statements took place Monday morning in the trial of William Inman.
The prosecutor told jurors it's reasonable to infer 48-year-old William Inman murdered his 25-year-old daughter-in-law, Summer.
The prosecutor says Inman ruled the family and wanted to help his son, who was in a child custody dispute with the woman.

Inman ‘had to clean up mess,’ jurors told
Ohio — William A. “Bill” Inman merely did what any father would do if his son had committed murder, his lawyer told jurors yesterday in Inman’s aggravated-murder trial.
“William Inman II is responsible for pulling that tie,” defense attorney Andrew Stevenson said. “ You will hear testimony that Willie was mad, Willie was unstable, Willie was passionate. Willie took Summer’s life.”
