Marco is a good friend of my cousin's... I haven't actually spoken to him yet about this, but my mom told me he's pretty shaken up over Marco's disappearance. Keeping him in my prayers!
From http://www.woodtv.com/dpp/news/local...missing-072612:
Quote:
Drayton was last seen at buying a tool kit at a grocery store. He was first thought to be voluntarily missing after he did not show up at a friend's house that same night.
Then, a day later, some of his belongings, including some neatly-folded clothes, wallet and phone, were found at a public boat access on Harwood Lake. There was no sign of a struggle, according to his family.
Friends and family told 24 Hour News 8 that Drayton is adventurous, but that he wouldn't run away.

I am very happy that this young man has returned safely to those that love and care for him. It is the ending we at WS ALWAYS hope for at the beginning of a missing person case - that they just needed a time-out and went off to clear their head and will be home shortly. That seems to have been the case here. I know there will always be folks who are outraged that the voluntarily missing person put their friends and family through agony by disappearing, and who want the found person to reimburse LE for expenses spent on a search. I am not judging the validity of those opinions. I do wonder if the voluntarily missing person who comes home again ever realizes that with the internet, it is forever etched in history the story of their voluntary disappearance. I know my company does a background and internet check and if some things turn up that are questionable, it might disuade them from hiring a particular person. Just another reason to leave a note before you voluntarily disappear!!
