The teen's mother, Karen Karam, said she exchanged several text messages with her, station KFMB reports.

Karam told her mother that she wanted to be left alone and that she didn't want to talk to Carlsbad police, who were reviewing the fracas.

Baleigh, if you're reading here please call your mom to come get you. Things will work out. Many are worried about you.

Bullied girl, 14, disappears the same day video of her being brutally attacked at school is posted online

Baileigh Karam, 14, of Carlsbad, California, disappeared last Friday when the cell phone video was posted on Facebook.
In the video, a female student strikes her as a crowd of fellow students watch and cheer. Karam is heard begging her attacker to stop.

I haven't looked at the video of the fight, but does it show the end of the fight? Or is it possible that the fight continued?

My concern is that she may not have been okay after the fight. And that someone else texted back on her phone to her mom or whoever.

I haven't been following this case so I could be way off.

Hey belimom,

That was exactly my first thought too!

I have found the video here:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...-Facebook.html

Not entirely certain if this is the entire version, but if it is then we don't see the end of the video.

Where are you Baileigh?

Such great news!! I LOVE to come here and find a "SAFE" teen. There are WAY too many that do not end well!

I hope that someone in the school stands behing Baileigh. Although she apparently has a good support system within her home, she also needs a good support system outside of the home.

My dearest brother recently passed away from ALS (AKA - Lou Gehrig's disease). It is an terrible disease without a cure, without a known cause, and is only diagnosed by elimination of other diseases. He is my hero!! He accepted the fact that he had to endure this disease, and he stayed positive even though I cried many times since he was diagnosed in early 2011. I know that he rests in peace knowing that he lived a good life here; and he will be blessed up there! May I always honor his memory in being a good person too!! I love you big Bro (also known as the gentle giant). 10/25/2012
