Bumping for Kayla.
I don't know why her case pulls so strong on me - I think it's because what little I know about her reminds me of me at that age. And now being a mother, it hurts knowing her mother and loved ones must be living with so much pain. Hugs to them.

I know i had told you all before i would try to answer questions and i haven't done that im sorry i have been so busy the last few months with a new baby and moving i just have not had the time to get on here like i had hoped :-( i have not forgotten though and if you have any questions i will TRY and answer with what i know which isnt a whole heck of alot sorry

Monday December 3rd Ft Morgan is having our annual Christmas parade this years theme is "All I want for Christmas" so we chose to make a float for Kayla because all any of us want is Kayla home if you are local and would like to join us in the parade making sure everyone knows we have NOT given up on Kayla making home we willbe meeting at Maurices parking lot at 5:00 please wear your missing shirts and santa hat or reindeer antlers Thanks for all your prayers and support

Drought biggest story of year in Morgan County
Fort Morgan's Kayla Chadwick, then 17, went missing on March 28, and quite a few locals responded by volunteering to search for her, and local law enforcement continues to pursue the case. Crime Stoppers and local residents offered $7,500 in rewards for any information that would lead to the return of Chadwick.

I have not been to Kayla's thread in a long while. And I am so thrilled to see movement on her case. This has restored my faith in some of these other cases that SEEM to be lying dormant. Hopefully there is progress behind the scenes, like there was in Kayla's case.
I am so glad to see that LE was on top of this. I remember back in the start of this case, it seemed so freaken obvious that her boyfriend was involved. And it was so frustrating to see him walking free, and feigning concern for her, even starting rumors about her state of mind and her 'having a gun' on her when she left.

If they have as much evidence as they and say he was always the focus, I wonder why it took so long and bond was so low, though.

Status Conference extended to 3/20/13
There was supposed to be a court "status conference" held 1/24/13 (yesterday) for Ivan Torralba, but his lawyer got an extension to 3/20/13.
Got this from the Bring Kayla Chadwick Home FB page.
That puts it real close to the 3/27 one year date of her missing. How agonizing for her family. Hugs to them.
