anyone notice the unusually high amount of black females missing?

Yes! And, if you look at the clickable county map http://www.mshp.dps.missouri.gov/CJ51/map.jsp there are an awful lot of cases in and around the St. Louis area. I have always assumed they consider a lot of them as runaways.

There is one particular situation that I find really odd that has gotten pretty much no publicity. Let me find the links...

OK I just realized the 3 children missing from 2 weeks ago taken by mom whom have since been found safe are still on this list as active missing. Guess we can't trust the list now. :sigh:

This website is maintained by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, so I'm not sure why it hasn't been updated to reflect finding the 3 missing kids from Cass County. I would think, though, that it would be updated to at least a year ago.

I keep telling myself I am going to sit down and start comparing the MSHP website with Namus, etc., but there is never enough time.

Found it: two black females missing on the same day from the same town. No posters on them and nothing in Namus. Look at their birthdays, though. They were born 5 days apart. Look at Erica Nesbitt and Tatianna Williams. P.S. I haven't started a thread for them because I can't confirm that they are still actively missing - I guess this is pretty O/T for this UID thread though.

Janice Younger has a thread here on WS in 1980s missing. If you read her thread you will see the odd way her case has been handled in MO. Not real sure what goes on there but yes I would not assume their list is always so accurate.
