The fact that they interviewed Todd Macaluso and he said she is in good hands without elaborating, makes me suspicious. It lends credence to her hopping on his jet out to California, rather than Ohio. He also has a pilot's license...

To some she is a commodity now. So you can bet one of them somewhere has her in their grips wining and dining her as we read here.

I think that folks with the FCA personality disorder have live around all of us at one time. I would have never thought of the evil that they possess. This case has been eye opening to myself and many many others..I do believe there will be good coming from this. Maybe granmas that take custody of little ones while their daughters or sons go live a life of partying. I refuse to think that Precious Caylees death will be in vain.
It has, it does, it is, Amen. :)

His law offices are in Riverside county in California, so is Palm Springs, CA. I truly believe that is where she is. Either they got lucky with the folks leaving for Ohio, or they hired these folks to throw the public off her trail.

Oh, just beautiful.

I wonder if they will be able to fill their ad spots???

I know that companies know how the majority of Americans feel about FCA.

So I wonder what companies are going to be willing to pay the network for commercial time.

I can see a lot of people boycotting products advertised during her interview.

JMO

Maybe, but I don't think it'll be enough for them not to pursue an interview. There are tons of people out there that really don't care about the verdict and would watch it for curiousity sake. People are going to stop buying a certain car because you saw their commericial during the interview. I don't think so.

The thing is.....she doesn't deserve a BOOST UP! She doesn't deserve million dollar deals and she doesn't deserve special protection from the police. She doesn't deserve an appeal on the 4 counts of lying to police officers when this was admitted in court. She doesn't deserve private jets and 5 star hotels.

What she is entitled to is a second chance - yes. She has the right to get a real job and earn real money instead of stealing from her 90 year old grandpa, her parents, her brother and her friends. She has the right to thank GOD that she escaped a first degree murder charge rather than shaking her fist defiantly at justice and shooting for a bogus appeal and wasting tax payer dollars.

She should not live a lifestyle of which she has NOT EARNED. She does not have the right to profit off the death of poor Caylee. She should be allowed to live a lifestyle that she can provide for herself through honest work. It is complete and total BS that she has her PIMP out trying to make both of them millions for what???? What did either of them do to deserve millions of dollars???? Even if she wasn't guilty - which I believe she is 100% guilty - she still has not done one thing to deserve a BELLA VITA life. This is just total BS.

Go out and get your second chance Casey - but it is beyond morally wrong to think you should live a super special extra wonderful existence at the expense of your little daughter. BS MOO

And how is she supposed to do that with all of the hatred against her? If the public would stop threatening her and accept that she was acquitted, she could possible get a job. Who is going to hire her right now? Seriously.

Hmmn...interesting point about her seizures and driving. I would bet that driving is one thing she will want to get to as soon as possible. Did not she take extreme measures for her driving freedom in the past? -- driving while DL was under suspension, stealing gas, lying, to be the lesser of her measures --

She might look to reside in a state that has less driving restrictions when it comes to seizures..

http://www.nhtsa.gov/people/injury/olddrive/Seizures Web/

I had one seizure a few yrs ago in my grocery store, fell backwards and split the back of my head open...was in hospital for a week...nobody ever brought up driving sanctions for me in the long term, I was just advised not to drive for FOUR MONTHS.

Besides, I think her supposed "seizure" was fake. For attention or whatever. And I dont care if Jesse "witnessed" it (if he did) How many seizures do you think Jesse had seen prior to "hers" and how many do you think he has seen since?

IMO she faked it and Jesse fell for it.
Am sure she climbed right into her car the next day and drove as if nothing ever happened.

And how is she supposed to do that with all of the hatred against her? If the public would stop threatening her and accept that she was acquitted, she could possible get a job. Who is going to hire her right now? Seriously.

Who would hire her with the lying and stealing alone. It's her fault.

I do.

What you say makes alot of sense, and I guess that would be why Baez would not want her to have any ties with her family, he is in control of the money that they can make together, correct

It would not be through channels that would be detected on the surface, is MO.

Even if you accept that she was acquitted of all major counts, people will look at her admitted stealing and lying.Makes for a great resume doesn't it?

I disagree. If she decides to do an exclusive, she will get a lot of money for it. Why? Because networks know that any interview by her will attract millions of viewers. Millions of viewers = dollars for the network. People can say they won't watch till the cows come home but a majority of americans will, because it's in our human nature to watch a trainwreck.

We are the same society that watch things like Paris Hilton and Jersey Shore by the millions. This will be no different.

Yay, thank you for saying this. The tabloids, Nancy Grace, the legal pundits (who want to be celebrities) they have all been raking in the dough over this since the beginning because we are all watching it and commenting over it relentlessly.

If you know anything about marketing they have been perusing the internet to find out how to appeal to our sense of morbid spectacle. Each one of us, IMO, is responsible for feeding the frenzy and filling the pocket books.

Well I'm like minded with the OCSO - that isn't my problem. She created this situation, why should she receive extra special attention and millions of dollars for this mess? Maybe one of her new DT "family" can let her work for them - I honestly could care less how she earns her money. It simply sickens me to think of a person who has caused all of this BS believes that she deserves some wonderful life and shouldn't have to WORK because nobody will hire her. Boohoo - that just sounds like a personal problem to me.

To the "second chance" and "sympathy" crowd:

I understand those feelings, though I disagree. I recognize that although the Court system may be a legitimate system of delivering justice, it is not the ONLY legitimate means of delivering justice.

Every time I DON'T watch a KC news program or buy the inevitable books, that is legitimate dispensation of justice. Every time I discourage others from watching or buying, that is justice.

Some compassionate person might give KC a job or second chance. And if she does "do right" for a long time - get her GED, get a college degree and/or pursue a career and not break the law, over time, the compassion threshold may drop and others may assist her. She may create a decent life for herself.

But nothing happened in a courtroom that compels or even suggests that she be welcomed with open arms. She fell into an abyss. She'll have to get herself out to look the rest of us in the eye. There's nothing vengeful about that.

Who would hire her with the lying and stealing alone. It's her fault.
Plus, she's a high-school drop out, and is a convicted felon. Not hiring for these reasons alone, besides the fact that she got away with murder!!!

Do we really know that she left the state at all? For all we know, she stayed in the office for hours and then went to one of her attorney's home or a local hotel.

casey is going to have a good few days. She will have a nice, hot shower with good products. She will be able to use soft toilet paper which I hear they do not have at all in jail. She'll be able to watch t.v. and all the coverage of herself which she will love.

She'll get nice food sent up to her room, instead of rancid baloney. Then, she'll spend some time with a stylist, get to pick out make-up, sit by a pool somewhere getting the sun she's missed for three years.

All of that really, really rankles. Her baby's body is reduced to dust and casey is free to enjoy simple pleasures that she should never enjoy again.

But not to worry.

casey is not free to go clubbing or flirt with guys or chat with friends on facebook or via text or phone. None of the cool set of friends she had or the cute guys she dated want a thing to do with her now. And casey will not be able to simply go out without hecklers following and harassing her. She will have to hole up somewhere remote, without much freedom to go where she wants unnoticed or un-reviled.

And let's talk about money. Yeah, casey will likely get a million dollar offer for a book. I can't see that much for an interview - perhaps an extra 500 k for that. So from 1.5 million, deduct taxes (35%, and that's just the feds, not state taxes), and we are down to $975,000.00. From that, deduct the 68 k or so she now owes in taxes from selling Caylee's photos. Now we are down to about $907,000.

From that, deduct $4,600 in court fines: $902,000.00.

Now, several people are suing her. She will have to pay attorneys to defend her. It is unlikely that Baez and company will continue to "comp" her. They got their fame and client base from this case and will be unlikely to spend much more on her. So casey will have to pay her attorneys to fight those law suits. Take at least $500,000.00 more for defending three pending suits thus far (TES, Zenaida and Padilla's diver): $402,000.00.

And then what happens when and if she loses one of those suits? The state of Florida is very angry right now. Chances are she will lose at least one, due to the attitude (and the facts). Take at least another $100,000 for that: $302,000.00.

Of course, we still have the state's request that casey be made to pay special costs of the investigation. I doubt that will amount to much, but that's possibly another 10k.

So how long can casey live on about 300k? A girl who got fired from the only job she ever had and who refuses to work and even if she wanted to, would be unlikely to find someone willing to employ her.

It appears she no longer has mommy and daddy who can or will foot her bill. $300,000.00 is not going to last long.

Also, casey, being an irresponsible sociopath, will likely blow through much of what she gets, buying expensive clothes, a nice car, vacations overseas, etc. IMO, she won't even have enough to buy a home.

When she blows through it all, and her attorneys have moved on, it is very likely that we will see her begging for attention, ala Amy Fisher, trying to get on celebrity rehab or Dr. Phil or whatever. And eventually, she will reoffend in some manner. This time, the justice system will be unlikely to give her a break.

I feel a tiny sense of satisfaction from thinking about this. casey will end up worse than OJ, with nothing but strange people to consort with, even stranger than the ones he had around him. Her home state will remain unwelcoming as will much of the rest of the United States. All will not end well for this baby killer.

And that's the only bit of consolation I can grab from this tragic case of a sweet, precious little girl who was deleted by the people that should have loved her the most.

I agree. And if she does, somehow, have the sense to buy a house with some of that money, she would still have to pay for upkeep and taxes. That would mean some sort of income; job. Why do I have visions of her losing her ill-gotten homestead to the IRS. :great:

And how is she supposed to do that with all of the hatred against her? If the public would stop threatening her and accept that she was acquitted, she could possible get a job. Who is going to hire her right now? Seriously.
Well maybe she should have thought of that before she killed her daughter. She is in this mess due to her own actions.

That said, I am sure there are some jobs she could find that wouldn't have her dealing with the public such as sorting mail.

So please cry me a river. She doesn't deserve to profit over her daughter's murder.

I don't have a county map, but I don't believe Palm Springs is in Riverside County. Help me out, S. CA posters!

Here's what Wiki says:
Palm Springs is a desert city in Riverside County, [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California"]California - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia@@AMEPARAM@@/wiki/File:Flag_of_California.svg" class="image" title="Flag of California"><img alt="Flag of California" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/01/Flag_of_California.svg/125px-Flag_of_California.svg.png"@@AMEPARAM@@commons/thumb/0/01/Flag_of_California.svg/125px-Flag_of_California.svg.png[/ame], within the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coachella_Valley"]Coachella Valley - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia@@AMEPARAM@@/wiki/File:Wpdms_shdrlfi020l_coachella_valley.jpg" class="image"><img alt="" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a1/Wpdms_shdrlfi020l_coachella_valley.jpg"@@AMEPARAM@@commons/a/a1/Wpdms_shdrlfi020l_coachella_valley.jpg[/ame]. The population was 44,552 at the 2010 census.

I didn't think so either, to be honest

Well I'm like minded with the OCSO - that isn't my problem.

I don't advocate vigilante justice or anything (not saying that you do!) but it really bugs me when people think they are too good to follow the law but expect it to protect them.
