I have wondered since Dec when I first heard of this, if someone stole her, wouldn't there be tracks in the snow? We did have snow in ME at that time. Also, i hafta say, not cooperating should be illegal when a 20 month old angels life is at stake, IMO!

Yes. There was fresh snow that night Ayla was supposedly taken. LE never spoke of tracks in the snow in her case...but they did in a burglary in York County, so you know they would have noticed and checked it out IF there were tracks. I hold to what I've thought all along. Something happened to Ayla before that Waterville house bunch reported it. They took time to clean up dispose of the poor baby...then they claimed she was missing. I just really hope LE is app over this case and can charge them...MOO.
Also want to say how good Trista looked in her interview...clear eyes...strong. Good for her. I hope she gets answers. She has been 100% Invested in finding Ayla no matter what she was dealing with. Can't say that about the man...person...JD who should have been insuring the safety of an innocent baby. He hasn't made the slightest effort...and I think we know why...hiding the truth...avoiding JAIL. JMO MOO
 
What happens now? Do we just wait for law enforcement to come out with something

Was there ever any searching in Portland, as far as we know? I can't help but wondering with the timeline in question and with JD making that trip to Portland to move his stuff or whatever, if Ayla couldn't be there somewhere. :( Is it true that CR's mom owns the apartment building her and her sister lived in on Pine?
 
I suppose JD could have "dropped" off Ayla in Portland. Problem is his timeline is questionable, giving him ample time to drop off Ayla somewhere where he could not be observed in the process. Of course, if he hasn't accounted for his time since December 8th to LE, he could have just waited for the cover of darkness. Cowards use darkness, isolated roads, swamps, trash bags (and duct tape) to dispose of evidences of evil.

This is true. Sometimes I think that evildoers might put their victims somewhere they can monitor. That's what made me think of the apartment building in Portland. If JD put her someplace random he may not be able to know if LE is moving in on that spot. BUT if he put her somewhere he could watch, he would know if LE was getting close or possibly found her when they do.

I think that may be more true of serial killers...a person who killed a child in a fit of rage or even by accident would be more likely, IMO, to just try to get rid of the evidence and the body (if they were inclined to cover it up), not planning so much as to where, rather just wanting to find the best place where the body might go undiscovered. JMO
 
:( I was checking to see if there has been any "news" since the vigil this past weekend, and I see there is no new news ... :(

I remember the vigil before this last one, there was some "news" : the public found out about the blood splatter in the basement ...

And I was hoping that we would find out something -- anything following this vigil ... I know, I guess I had my hopes up too much :innocent:

I sure hope this does not become a "cold case" ...

Where is Ayla ... and when is there going to be some "action" on this case ?

Excellent point that hasnt been discussed for quite a while... Just as joyless replied to your post stating that other crimes that occurred at this same point clearly involve tracks/footprints in the snow that was present... I guess at the Dipietros they either are claiming it to be aliens with a hovercraft as to why the kidnapper left no tracks in the snow.. or that it was Santa came early in his sleigh, landing atop the roof and swooping in to abduct Ayla..again leaving no footprints in the snow..:maddening:

Its getting very difficult to contain the anger felt for the DiPietros&co...:devil:
 
New England had a very mild December. Being in NE when this happened, it was on TV a lot, and I don't remember snow in any of the TV feeds. Looking at historical weather reports, Waterville had warm temps and very little precipitation.

The early photos of Justin (thinking of the one with him, Courtney with her son in her arms, and police) when zoomed out to the entire picture don't show snow either. Neither do the pix with police tape and a cruiser sitting out front of the house in the days that followed.

So, was there snow on the ground to show any footprints?

Yes it had been a practically snowless winter, but that very night it snowed in Waterville. Not a giant storm, but enough to show tracks and to have concern about Ayla being out in that weather.
 
I wish they would release more information!! There has got to be a way to MAKE people talk! This is maddening!! :/ Where is Ayla???

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation for the enormous amount of community support that law enforcement officers received during this very difficult and emotional investigation into the disappearance of 20-month-old Ayla Reynolds of Waterville.

It has been a humbling experience to witness the compassion, generosity, encouragement and thoughts and prayers extended to all investigators working to bring Ayla home.
 
Guess Ayla's daddy liked playing hide and go seek so much he got carried away. Forget behaving like the game-playing smart-azz, JD.

Poor helpless little baby Ayla. When & where will it end. I hope that somebody squeaks soon.

It is pitiful that there is so little news, and nothing to post except the hope that LE has something to say soon. This, as well as other similar cases, is getting beyond ridiculous. Babies don't just disappear with adult "help".
 
Good Evening Everyone. I apologize greatly or my absences due to my work. I have little time to really try and investigate as much as I want but I did have a break these past two days and I have caught up with so much reading about what the DiPietro's, especially what Justin has been up to. I don't believe that there is an article, news or blog that I have not covered. In doing so, I have come to the conclusion that perhaps Justin DiPietro has rid Ayla Reynolds body in Forest Lake Road in Gray, ME or along route from Waterville to Portland. Of course this is my opinion and I pray to God that I am wrong but I certainly do want this to be ruled out. Just as I stated in my last post that Justin DiPietro was lying about the date that he supposedly broke his daughters arm by slipping in the rain when in act there was no rain that whole time before and after Nov. 5, 2012. I do this for a living. I am good at what I do because I started o as a hacker at the age of 16 when my friends and I successfully hacked into the White House files in 1982 with a 9600 modem. In those days, we were only reprimanded and told to not do it again but I went into the Navy and did more communication and made a career as a computer forensic specialist and have taught Federal agents how to decrypt Files hidden on the internet. As I read the social media blogs, I was really impressed with Tim Crew who was friends at one point with Justin & Lance DiPietro that turned into hate after they told Tim Crew to stop searching or Ayla. Now they have some balls asking their good friend to stop searching, when they should be mad at those not searching. Also Lance DiPietro made a Facebook website called Tim Crew's is a (piece o ****). Which..UM>>fortunately Tim now controls that site. I don't understand but it is what it is now. Tim has control and is my new Hero. He is standing up to the DiPietro's and have called them out to tell the truth solely because they told him to stop searching or Ayla. Something tells me that he knows more than what he is saying. Anyway, I want Waterville PD to please search the surrounding bodies of water from Waterville down to Portland. The closest Lake is this Forest Lake. Lance DiPietro and the guy who broke the window at 29 Violette Ave were also best buddies at one point. Somebody needs to bring home Ayla. DiPietro's fan based groupies are spreading lies that Trista did something to Ayla or even has the baby. An interview with Justin DiPietro in the Sentinel is suppose to come out on Sunday March 11th. This is the main reason I say the police have to look into finding Ayla's body in Portland. I think Justin is trying to do exactly that. Pin this on Trista. Be that true or not, this child's case can not turn Cold. Keep her name alive Websleuthers. You ladies and gentlemen are so awesome. I want to thank everyone of you or your super work. This case is so important to me as a mother and a grandmother. I will never understand how someone can hurt a child. Much less kill one.

Amen to that. We have to keep her case alive until she is brought home. Her father may not have cared about her, but there are so many people out there that do, especially us here on WS.

This is my first time posting here, but I am sure most all of you know who I am since my blog is used as a source of info here. I wanted to say first off, you guys are amazing with keeping Ayla's name out there and the insight and investigative skills you have.

I wanted to respond to the comment above because
1. Tim took over the group and turned it into an Open Discussion Page for Ayla. He cleaned up all of the trash that was on the site and hijacked it for Ayla. Another reason Tim Crews has shown himself to be a stand up guy.

2. I have spoken to Jeremy Hanson personally, he has allowed me to use the info in the blog. He did not know Lance or Justin prior to this happening to Ayla. Jeremy Hanson is only 19, Lance is 27. There is no reason for me to think that Jeremy Hanson is lying. Jeremy did say that he has one friend who is related to Justin Linnell but that he also does not know Justin Linnell.

3. Gray, ME is past Portland and in the SouthWestern part of the state, while it is possible that Justin drove to Gray to dispose of Ayla's body, there are many, many lakes closer to home that he could have disposed of her in. We are 15 miles from the Belgrade Lakes Region, which is a popular Summer tourist area. Justin is familiar with Belgrade, as his mother owns a house there and Justin went to school in that school district. It is very likely that a body hidden in Belgrade Lakes, would not be discovered until late Spring when townsfolk are getting camps, houses ready for the tourists. Gray is extremely out of the way. I am curious as to how you came to the conclusion that it was that specific lake.

Otherwise I agree with your post and mean no disrespect, just wanted to point out some info that I have previously found regarding your post.
