Another thing that bothers me about that 911 call...wonder why AB keeps calling the 'kidnappers' "they"? Has there been anything that I have missed that would make anyone believe that the supposed kidnappers were more than 1 person?

The "ransom" note said "WE have your daughter"

I feel certain LE want mitochondrial DNA for (current or eventual) purposes of comparison. I'm sure the bio mom is happy to comply with that request. And I'm sure grandmother is doing all that she's been asked to do as well.

I agree and I think at this moment both will do whatever they can to assist LE in finding Zahra.

Here's the Aussie media on the 911 call;

'THE father of missing Australian girl Zahra Baker initially explained her disappearance as the behaviour of a moody adolescent.'

Very little commentary here, but reading between the lines you can see they're thinking what we are....here's some commentary from over the weekend http://aussiecriminals.wordpress.co...ie-girl-zahra-baker-admits-to-1m-ransom-note/

Also this line "My daughter is, I think, coming into puberty and she's hitting that broody stage. We only see her, she only comes up, when she wants something." ... did the house have a cellar? Why would he have said 'up'?

Dear Mods and Members -

I apologize for my mistakes and posting from a "social site." Thank you for your patience with me. Perhaps, I better just read here for a bit longer before I continue to post.

Nope don't stop posting mytime. We all learned that way. You are good natured about it and correct any problems. No big deal in my opinion!

Does anyone think they are getting the prosthesis specs just in order to have it on hand should they locate it in the future?

Patty, I read that too...but my problem with that is that I wouldn't think that AB would have been that hard to find until he came here. Not to mention, apparently Zahra was on the news as well..not exactly hiding. I do think it's possible that she may have seen Zahra @ around 2 y/o though. From reading the posts, I know Grandma doesn't think so...but it's possible and no one told her..maybe on purpose....

Anything is possible ...

Here is a link that Nancy2441 posted earlier where Channel 14 answers the questions...
Its a good site, you can also submit questions.
News 14
Where is Zahra's mother?
Zahra's mother is still in Australia where the little girl was born. Some stories are circulating that Zahra hasn't seen her mother since she was 8 months old. In May, when we interviewed Zahra, she mentioned her mother in Australia as if she'd seen her more recently than that.
A woman posted in Australia posted on her Facebook page Tuesday that she was good friends with Zahra's mother, Emily, and that Emily had been searching for Zahra for 5 years. The post went on that Emily found out last week Zahra's father was remarried and living in North Carolina. It also indicated they learned Monday Zahra was missing in NC.

Yes, I do believe that Emily had been searching for Zahra for 5 years and it is MOO that bio mom was in Zahra's life for the first 4 years. Thanks for posting this Imamaze. Me thinks AB has not always been truthful to the women in his life including his Mom (KB).

Kat, me thinks they may have found something. Tomorrow will be interesting with EB and her court date.

You're welcome! :) It wouldn't necessarily have to be a recurrence of cancer, but instead it is possible the stump could become infected from improper care, such as lack of proper hygiene, moisture, an ill-fitting prosthesis, etc. MOO

Very true. I do worry about recurrence for her, though, since she had secondary lung cancer after her initial bout with the bone cancer in her leg. I can't imagine not taking my child for at least semi-annual checkups with an oncologist or appropriate specialist (even if I were broke and had to beg for her to be seen). Of course, it's possible she was taken for appropriate medical care.

However, if EB were abusing Zahra as badly as those around them would have us believe, EB may have not wanted her to be enrolled in school or to see any doctor whatsoever for fear she might tell on her. In that case, I could see an infection or a cancer recurrence (or any other illness) being neglected out of selfishness.

I think until we know something, these kinds of thoughts are gonna be floating around. It's really hard to say what would be the worst case scenario out of all we've wondered about here. If she is gone, I almost hope she was overdosed and fell asleep peacefully. What a horrid thing to even think...but compared to some other scenarios, definitely the lesser of evils.

That's exactly what I believe LE wants the information for. MOO

I think granny is hiding something!

You're fine, mytime...it's difficult for even some of us long-time members to know what's okay/isn't okay to post from the social media. Don't feel like you can't jump right in...we are glad you are here and contributing!

Keep posting and keep the thoughts coming. This case is so puzzling and with so many twists and turns that every ounce of brain power that can be mustered is going to be needed to see this one through to the end.
