It's free. The government pays for it.

Now I remember during one hearing Anne was asking for additional money for "her" mitigation specialist. HHJP said no, use Jeanne, and HHJP did authorize additional funds. The DT asked for a jury consultant. HHJP said no, CM was more than qualified to do it.

So, what is this consultant doing? I sure would like to view the JAC request and approval for this one, considering who she is.

, I have always enjoyed reading, and have a lot of respect for your post, but I'm sorry...I have to dissagree with this one. It's myself and all the other good tax-payers of FL paying for this. :banghead:

Just Googled hypovelmia which means blood loss. That coupled with the artery search suggests she is looking for alternatives.

Some of the medical terms searched -- meningeal/hypovelmia seem too educated/sophisticated (for lack of a better word) for KC unless she heard them from watching too much CSI or from CA, nurse.:twocents:

I saw that too!

I love the way Mark Eiglarsh calls her out by asking if the defense team is paying her to come out and try to change public opinion of ICA. Also, when he told Dr Drew that, even him, as a defense attorney, finds something wrong with the timing of her appearances and what she's saying! PRICELESS!

IMO, this is an LKB born "consultant". Not only do they sound alike, but this consultant was also a consultant / attorney for Phil Spector.

Her name is Jennifer Barringer.

IMO, the DT will stoop to any level...

'Head blow' de cologne

A high-profile attorney who doubled as an agent for disgraced music producer Phil Spector is singing the blues after being nabbed for viciously attacking her boyfriend with perfume bottles in their tony Manhattan apartment, sources said.

Barringer -- who assisted Spector's murder-defense team in 2007, but was not the attorney of record on the case -- was charged with felony assault and released on $1,500 bail.

I just now caught this on TV and thought it was hilarious. It also kills me how none of these people seem to recognize the hypocripsy of demanding the general public consider ICA innocent, all the while their defense is this happened because George is a child-molester, with no proof whatsoever about George other than ICA being a compulsive liar. Unreal.

Well isn't this nice, First JB has Bolin, and her reputation sitting with iCA, and this Barringer.

He must be a magnet for disgraced attorneys.

i think was being facetious

I've been doing that. Not to upset anyone. I just sometimes see the trial threads full of complaining about how the testimony is "boring". It bugs me.

This is real life, and not a TV show meant to entertain people.

I only post stuff to remind people what this case is about. I see what you are saying, but I wanted to clarify why I have been doing it.

I, for one, appreciate those pix, Softtail, so thank you for them. What especially irks me are the 'trolls' who keep repeating themselves with the same complaints and negativity over and over. It is apparent, to me at least, that they are simply attempting to persuade in a specific direction (their agenda,) rather than add anything productive or of value to the thread. It became so annoying to me today that I left for awhile. So I do appreciate your posts and pix.

I'm beginning to think the same thing. And according to NG if she chloroformed her and she died it's still felony murder. I had a thought that maybe she googled chlorform after seeing RMs post. If she really kept going back to the How to Make Chlorform page, which was step by step instructions, I feel much more confident that it was chlorform/duct tape that killed her.

I keep all my favorite recipes in a file on my Mac, and even tho I've made my favorite (and highly requested!) Orange Flavored Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies over 50 times in the last 6 months, I always have to open my file and confirm the measurement for cinnamon... I can never seem to remember if it calls for a quarter or a half Tsp.

BTW, did anyone catch Lippman briefly on HLN today after the trial....I took a nap and was only just waking up, so I missed the first part, but I heard them ask him what the A's think about JB's defense theory and he said something to the effect of "without violating attorney client privilege, they understand that this is a defense tactic to save their daughter's life," and in further comments seemed to suggest that they think this is coming from JB and not ICA. It sounds like they just can't believe that ICA could be capable of leveling those accusations....

I've not read mention of this, forgive if it has already been been mentioned.

I had O'Reilly on earlier and some woman came on to comment about the case (I was only half listening, so I don't know who she was)

Anyhow, she called Casey a Mona Lisa! I 'bout fell out my chair! I thought Casey was an attractive girl when all this started, not as much now. But Mona Lisa?!?!

I think she went a little over the edge there...

This has probably already been discussed but I am just watching this afternoon's testimony for the first time. ICA seems to be "quite actively involved and very interested" in the computer searches. I think she knows this could be the final straw for her and is really trying to help JB with her defense today.

Or maybe because she knows computers don't lie like some people who shall remain nameless [*cough* Lee *cough cough* Cindy].

I don't "sit" on the trial thread or any thread really. I don't like to waste my time, battery or data usage scrolling through page after page to get to the nitty gritty of what was said. I do appreciate the three or four dedicated posters (Thank You!!!!!) who do summaries during the trial and can see them separated from other posts when they are posted in colored fonts.

I know I forget what I wanted to post on the sidebar when it opens. Usually someone else comments on it when I finally get there :woohoo: So I pick up there for my comments, usually.

Some people use the term meaning a work of art, or perfection, but here I think they were referring to Mona Lisa being a pretty girl who holds secrets behind her smile....but it does seem a little degrading to Mona Lisa :confused:

Respectfully BBM

Yes, I saw that, too.... but what no one ever seems to mention about that is the defense could not present that theory without ICA's OK. She's as in on it as her pathetic attorneys. IMO

It kind of makes me sick that so many of the talking heads don't think the prosecution have proved any points and seem to think Jose has made inroads into his defense. So many seem to think there is not enough good evidence. Its like there is no perfect evidence in this case. Some one else could do the searches on the computer, dogs didn't find anything yada yada....

I will pretend like I am a TH does this sound like one of them?

If I were a juror, and all I knew about this case was what has been presented in evidence:
I would think KC is a liar, and not a model citizen, and was very upset about being in jail. (if I was innocent and in jail, I would be very upset as well). I would wonder why the state brought in so many witnesses to prove she was a liar. That was pretty obvious after the first two or three, and one jailhouse tape would have confirmed that. All that repetition seemed redundant. It also drove home the point that all these witnesses believed she was a good mother, and had a great relationship with her daughter.

Her father did not seem sincere on the stand, and he didn't get upset when accused of molestion and looked guilty when he answered. Then later he got very agitated about gas cans????

The trunk of the Pontiac smells really bad, like somebody died in there.
The hair with apparent decomp, may have come from a living person, or from a dead person according to the FBI expert. Hair with apparent decomp has never been used in a trial before.

The white trash bag sat in a dumpster for hours before it became part of the chain of evidence, and some of the evidence from this white trash bag may have been inadvertantly altered. The expert who put the trash in the drying room seemed very nervous after seeing the photo of the wet trash.

The collection of samples provided to the air sample expert were not collected by the expert, and the shockingly high level of chloroform doesn't make sense because the FBI expert said it wasn't a shockingly high level of chloroform. Air samples have never been used in a trial before. This expert thought he read his initials on an evidence can, but he was mistaken, wonder what else he has misread or been mistaken about.

The two dogs have never alerted without a find anytime they were in a real world scenario, ever in their entire careers, until this case. (Anthony backyard) (trunk)

84 times? HUH? recess till tomorrow morning

Now I know these are all little things, but when you take the totality of all of these points well then circumstantially you find yourself with reasonable doubt.

Did I do good huh? Does this sound like one of the TH's?

After the jury was dismissed ICA was blah, blah, blahing Jose. He didn't look directly at her, he even rolled his eyes - he then said "Yeah you were right". She replied "I know I was right, blah blah I am right." Jose still giving her the cold shoulder, ICA sat down looking pizzed still blah-blahing but I couldn't make out anymore of what she said.

I love how her attorneys all placate her by telling her she's right and they're wrong. Interesting how she can always be "right" when she's in line for the DP for murder and they are not... but whatever it takes to calm her I guess.

Personally I would love to read JB's book if he writes one (has someone write it for him). It would answer all that 'wtheck is he thinking?'

BBM Missed this today. How interesting - "you were right, I was wrong." That is what DS said to Casey (verbatim) the day Casey had her hissy fit when Cindy testified. What a handful Ms Casey must be for her team. Hehe!

I know. Strange. Maybe she had out her mom's medical books??

I thought these were links that came up on her searches. Like if I searched google for headache, then results came up and I clicked on WebMD, it would take me to that WebMD page about headaches. Then on that page, it will have tons of other highlighted links to other pages like "stroke symptoms", "migraine vs. headache", etc. I think that's where she got those severe medical terms- fromn a link on the original chloroform (or whichever) page. Clickable links. IMO...
