Did they say that they were going to buy this house or rent it. The house at the link is $550,000. Rent on a place like that would be really high and there is no way that Casey with no job and Amy could afford to buy it much less rent it unless Amy makes a lot of money.

that would be what $4000 to $5000 monthly mortgage payment. My house was $250,000 and my mortgage payment is around $2100.

There has been some speculation/theory that Casey knew the house was vacant, and it would've been a convenient place to get rid of Caylee. Amy had used the address before on a resume, and it seems as though Casey planned to move in there w/ Amy at one time. I don't think she ever denied being there, but it was never really brought up. It just seems like a logical place to look for Caylee since Casey knew it was remote enough and being vacant, a good place NOT to be seen. It is also fairly close to where Casey's cell phone pinged.
 
I am sorry, I missed the situation with the house how did it get brought up in the first place? That is the same house because behind the tank it is the same building, or barn. Awsome sleuthing.
 
jbar, I think the relevence would be if LE has ever checked the wooded area near that house.

But, and I am not trying to be snarky, are they supposed to look every place she's ever been? Have they checked the Target? Her high school? Kiomarie's house?

I just meant to say, are we seeing relevancy because of some statement Casey has made (like she had never been there) or... are we just leaping here?

None the less, I think it's an interesting find...
 
It is the same property, I took a loop and the red building (window location) matches the one in the pictures. However, Caylee is wearing jeans, not shorts and caseys hair is much shorter in the image vs. July. So I would say the picture may have been taken in APril or May,,,,,,,,,,,a comutor specialist will be able to see when the photo was taken by looking at the down load info when this photo was put on a HD. I Heard LE explain this on NG about how they can tell when a picture was taken & download and what camera it comes from etc.

But this photo is at that property for sure.
 
I'll ask again, wasn't that the house that Amy or Casey (can't remember which) wanted insurance papers mailed to? From someones MySpace or Facebook posting?
 
I agree that it definitely looks like the same house.

But for my tired brain, can someone tell me why it is significant that Casey and Caylee have been there? Is it just the clothing or am I missing something else???

If it's just the clothing, I can't see it being a big deal. I think a pink shirt and jeans on a little girl is pretty generic, and it looks like her hair was in a pony like that a lot.

No harm in bringing the dogs out for a quick sniff, but I wouldn't get all excited quite yet.

In my opinion, the relevance is that the house was vacant, and that Casey's cell phone pinged fairly close to this location.
 
It's the first picture I have seen of Casey that actually shows what she looks like when she's not cheesing it up for the camera.

Ok, back up... Who's Lauren and do you have the myspace where this originated? If it was tagged, than that means it came from RM's myspace so I am guessing he took the pic.
 
I posted in the other Oviedo House thread that the house in NOT vacant. I'll go retrieve my thread rather than repeat myself.
