The house is owned by Shellie's parents according to an earlier report on WKMG.
 
JMO, he is behaving like an arrogant jerk. Its HER father's house? Why would she move out?
 
Is this not a state where LE can choose to charge even if the victim declines to?

20 years ago, on the last instance of domestic assault in my former relationship, I was too afraid to press charges, but LE thankfully went ahead and did anyway. I am so, so grateful now that they were able to do so. It snapped me out of it, and I was able to leave. Won't say the state, as I like to keep my identity somewhat hidden from that particular , but you don't want to mess with them. ;)

re: George, IMO he has a serious anger problem. I really wish they'd charge him, he is a danger to the public.

According to ABCNews, Shellie Zimmerman and her father refused to give statements to police and they do not want to press charges.

What is wrong with SZ admitting she did something wrong? She admits to perjury. I admire that. He was involved in the same conversation. He was as wrong as she was, in hiding assets. JMO

Just because some one calls the police on you does not mean you have done anything wrong. He got a speeding ticket. That is not really trouble if you ask me.

And then in the end nothing happened. If there was evidence of assault, They would have arrested someone.

I wonder if she can get in trouble for false reporting? If he had threatened to shoot people, Then he would have been arrested no matter what she said.

It goes to truthfulness. She lied under oath in court. He was not charged with lying to the court.

It does if you punched your father in law in the nose! Sorry, but we will have to agree to disagree on this one. I strongly believe there is something DEEPLY wrong with George Zimmerman, and I hope there is some kind of effective intervention before somebody is hurt.
 
Whatever this is, I think that it's pretty clear that an LE escort is badly needed any time they are to see each other. He said/she said, etc... during an ugly divorce, on top of everything else? Better for all parties involved to stay safe, calm, and have an impartial person there.

But he did not. Or he would be in custody right now. You can believe that but apparently this was a non event and not exactly truthful reporting by SZ.
 
He was not charged with lying but he was party to the same conversation. Therefore he lied as well.JMO
 
Domestic violence is a whole different ball of wax. If you're afraid you don't press charges no matter what....because you are afraid. Been there done that. JMO

Apparently not to the court.

It does not matter. She obviously was not telling the truth today. I have to wonder about motivation.

I don't know all the details at this point, but she did mention he smashed her I-Pad and had a knife, or he smashed it with a knife. If there is any physical evidence (dad could have a bruise on his face) and the I Pad could be broken... that could open the case up for arrest.

However, I doubt LE would press charges if Shellie and Dad refuse to give a statement.

Personally, I'm not a fan of either of the two.

Just hearing GZ had a body-guard with him at the time.

I don't get why Shellie is moving out when it's her father's house. Would her father want to house GZ after this?

That is not what this is about today. I would bet my bottom dollar this was about making GZ look bad. She did not even live there anymore.

But if he had been threatening her as she said, or hit the father he would be on his way to jail.
