Hi all. I've just noticed that the documentary 'JonBenet's America' is now on YouTube, uploaded a few months ago. Produced in 1998, 70 minutes long.

Overall it is a horrible, Michael Tracey-produced nightmare that is extremely pro-Ramsey.

BUT, as the Ramseys backed it to the hilt, it does contain lots of footage I had never seen before, as someone who didn't follow the case from the very beginning (although I think I remember watching this in '98, aged 14 in the UK, and thinking 'poor Ramseys', HA).

It's worth a look for good shots of the inside of the house, better home camcorder footage than I've ever seen, shots of the funeral and memorial, plus interviews with Melinda Ramsey, JAR, Jeff Ramsey and his wife, JR's first wife, Dr Beuf and his wife, Susan Stine, Charlie Brennan, Mike Bynum, and more.

For anyone interested in BR within the turmoil, the photo-op scene at the Boulder Episcopal Church and the lined up parishioners is worth catching. BR appears below the steps, chewing gum, and then leads on. A view of his reaction to all of this can be seen at 42.18 on the youtube video.

The 5-bedroom Boulder house in which 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey was found dead in the basement the day after Christmas 1996 is once again on sale, 16 years after it was sold by Patsy and John Ramsey.

"The claim, wild and tasteless even by conspiracy theory standards, was first posited in a video posted to YouTube in December 2014, which has just started going viral.
The user, Dave Johnson, says her murder was staged with the long-term goal of her becoming the world famous pop star Katy Perry now is."
 
"In interview with InTouch, Ollie Gray, who continued to investigate the murder case even after he stopped working for the Ramseys, claims that the child's killer was a local 26-year-old who family owned a junkyard on the outskirts of the city - Michael Helgoth.
'
'Based on what we know now, I believe Helgoth and his accomplices committed the crime. There's no doubt about it,' said Gray.
That opinion was backed up by John Kenady, a man who used to work for Helgoth, who told the magazine; 'There was a tape recording made by Helgoth. And in it, he said he killed JonBenet.'

Kenady also claims that someone close to Helgoth still has the tape, which was overlooked by police during the investigation."

Because it contains a contemptible innuendo towards a deceased person, I am contributing additional facts.

The information in these articles has been around for many, many years. The story/rumor was thought to have originated from Michael Tracey’s documentaries (http://www.acandyrose.com/michaeltracy.htm). He claimed to be simply repeating information he gleaned from the tabloids.

Helgoth was thoroughly investigated by the BPD, and he was cleared. The man who was allegedly his partner was not even in Boulder at the time of the crime.
Lastly, investigator Gray worked via Smit (the famed author of the Intruder theory) and is not considered a credible source of information since the RST were developing their own investigation to prove someone else was responsible. The shenanigans behind the scenes included Kenady breaking and entering the home of Helgoth and removing Hi-Tec boots which he claimed to have given to an attorney to give to Gray. Gray delivered the boots to the BPD. The problem for those promoting this theory is that neither the boots nor the DNA matched crime details. The whole story was simply innuendo.

As more than half a dozen national television productions prepare to mark the nearly two decades that have passed since the murder of JonBenet Ramsey, a suspect in the notorious unsolved slaying is in the Boulder County Jail on charges of sexually exploiting a child.

Gary Howard Oliva, 52, was booked without bond into the jail Friday on a case brought by the Boulder Police Department, the same agency that has labored for two decades to bring resolution to the notorious Christmas night 1996 slaying of the 6-year-old child beauty queen.

The affidavit for Oliva's arrest alleges that in April he uploaded to a Google email address 20 or more images of graphic child *advertiser censored*. Some images featured a girl estimated to be between 4 and 7 engaged in sexual acts with an adult male whose face is not seen..........(see link for full story)
