Less than 24 hours after Tiger Woods finished second at the U.S. Open on Father's Day, his wife gave birth to their first child, a daughter. He announced Monday night on his Web site that Sam Alexis Woods was born early Monday morning.

Are they really going to call her Sam? Maybe she is named after someone and they really plan to call her by her middle name....I hope

I actually think SAM is cute!

I used to have a Pomeranian named SAM, and she was a girl!

They are both so good looking I bet their little girl will be a doll! It's so sad that his dad didn't live to see Tiger's first baby.

I also like the things Tiger said. He puts his family and raising his baby as top priority.
