Were George and Cindy in court today? I've been thinking how sad today's testimony must have been for them.

I cannot believe how upset I am after JB's cross of the dog handler (can't remember his name just now) about the missing bones of Sweet Little Caylee and the fact that ICA has no reaction to it.
I asked in the afternoon thread if anyone knew what ICA's inmate # is as I want to refer to her as that from here on out. Someone did respond (Thank you) but I couldn't figure out what # is her inmate #. I have an idea but don't want to use it in case I'm wrong. Can anyone help me here?
Thank you.

Mr. Ashton should announce a bomb has been found in the building by a canine unit and that they must evacuate in an orderly fashion ... then sit back and watch JB RUN!!!
I bet he wouldn't question the dogs senses then!

AH hah! See jury even Baez believes canines!!
:floorlaugh:
case over.

thanks everyone for all the great posts this afternoon while i was out :rocker:

i just learned something from Jean C on HLN a bit ago

she said that FL had recently ruled that there could be a mistrial hinging on searches with dogs....that explains why they spent sooooo much time on the dog training etc this am. i thought they just did that because they knew JB was really comin' after them on that.

Blessings to Forgey and Gerus....Caylee would thank you if she could

BBM- Do you remember why they said that? In this case specifically? I think LDB's giving it everything theyve got to make it clear how well-trained the k9's were, and how they had to keep retesting. If anyone can get it in, she can. Based on the totality of evidence I think it will stay anyway.

Did anyone pick up on Deputy Forgey's testimony about the bio-hazards in the forensics bay next to where the car was? I think that is something JB should have known about when questioning Bloise, Vincent and Dr. Voss about the air samples? I'm sure they would have stated that it would have been handled in the control sample of the garage air, but still, it kind of makes you wonder KWIM?

iirc JB was attempting to change 'bio-hazards' to 'trash', when discussing why the car was relocated outside. Attempting to insinuate that any old trash would disrupt the dog's progress in identifying decomp.

As the trial progresses, I find myself getting angrier and angrier. I hope it's okay to say...I hate Casey...and her attorney.

jmhoo.... but it will come up again in the trial that Caylee was
1)not found deceased in a swim suit
2) no swim suit found in the car
3) no swim suits missing from the house

so... imhoo what the anthony's used to stabilize their pool will be moot... and any chlorine from any pool back in early june would have already volatilized as we have already seen in scientific testimony..

again my two cents..

(((oh wait.. I have more cents! nurse reaching into piggy bank... the spare tire cover had enough chloraform to detect after being sent thru the mail in a card board box which corroborates dr. V air sample testing... that the levels were way high... the chemist today said that the levels he currently detected he was surprised to see due to volatility of chloraform..... I know a lot of people think he didn't win points but as a person who has a science background it spoke VOLUMES... LIKE A LIBRARY.... to me.. okay bank empty...))

the dog I was so hoping to see live, in HHBP's courtroom. If you watch a pure breed german shepard dog walk they do not usually allow anyone to see their dingle balls-they walk haunches down.they have some of the most incredible musculature in the hind quarters, and nobody messes with them in the private, I am not an expert at anything. I am just taking a break from the Morenci MI and CLeveOH cases which are enough to make my screams heard in Nova Scotia

Don't bump me for being stupid; I just want ♥ ♥Caylee♥ ♥ s[irit to dance on the golden streets forever

*RANT ON:
When is someone going to tell the talking heads the Anthony's used Baquacil NOT chlorine in their pool?
Just goes to show how little they REALLY investigate before reporting!!!
*RANT OFF.

I believe they know, it just doesn't suit their purpose because then there would be nothing to argue about. I don't for one minute think they haven't been informed by the public that they are in error, I know I emailed them, and countless hundreds I'm sure wrote or phoned to let them know too. It just isn't in their agenda at the moment.

I don't see any fences or restrictive barriers in that little yard anywhere. And yorkies tend to follow their owners whenever possible, imo. But IDK foir sure.

I don't think that poor baby was left in that yard very long. I think Casey was too afraid of Cindy to do that. But if the body was taken from the trunk after a day or two, to bag her up and wrap it up, then that would leave the decomp
residue for the dogs to hit on. imoo

I was wondering why she would take the body to that far corner of the yard to wrap it. Then I saw the very large umbrella in the screenshot of where Gerus alerted. Not the striped one that is shown opened, but the closed, very tall one. I believe the body was moved there to afford ICA some privacy while wrapping the body. I see many windows of neighbors that she would need to be shielded from.

In the trial thread they mentioned the cases...and yes, that's why the State has been so thorough. They've covered all bases IMO.

It wouldnt matter what they used in their pool because she was in all kinds of pools, Chris's ,Toni's ..

The state doesnt care to address it because if they do Baez will make a bigger issue then the tiny possiblity the jury will believe that a swim suit was a source of Chloroform then it is worth .

They still have the bottle of gatoraide.

BBM...you would think he would know about it considering he was in that garage with the defense team to inspect the car. Dr Lee and all the other members were present.

I've seen this mentioned a few times...the bottle contained chloroform? Do you have a link? TIA

Those were my thoughts exactly. Well, perhaps not "exactly", afterall, I'm not a chemist. ;)

One thing that has never been clear to me, though...when they are talking about samples, scrapping, etc. being taken from the spare tire cover, were these taken from the inside of the tire cover, or the outside? I've never been able to get a lock on that. And it does matter to me.

Do you know how it was discovered that the A's use Baqaucil? Was it on the search warrant list or did someone state it in a depo? I can't remember. TIA
I thought it was part of the search results. I ran an advanced search on the search link above -- showing posts and the earliest reference on Websleuths appears here in the All About Chloroform # 2 thread in about February of 2009.

OT, kind of: Unfortunately, the walking with haunches down is bad breeding. That extreme slope is unnatural to the breed and although "desirable" for show dogs (in the US) is very undesirable for working dogs, because along with the slope comes hip dysplasia, muscle weakness and most of the time "early euthanasia". I'm not an expert either, but I've owned a total of 7 GSD's (still own 2 now), have done quite a few translations of research into GSD genetics, lectures by specialists, etc.
