Hi, Marmar, thanks for the correction: I trust your more detailed (apparently more professionally trained) description. I only saw grainy stills that somebody sent me. (It also seemed odd to me that the overhead camera would be situated there. In buildings where I've stayed, they have usually been in more public areas.

No problem. I'm hardly professional, just a wee bit obsessed lol.

As far as the overhead camera outside *his* door. What a stroke of luck that was that he happened to have the room right under the camera. It's almost like the wheels of justice were in motion already.

I just can't believe that if he knew the camera was outside his room, he would be dumb enough to commit a crime in there. That's why I don't think it was planned, but a moment of rage for whatever set him off.

It is like Karma come home to roost. Can't describe it in any other way, but thank God. xox

When Stephany follows Joran out of the lobby on the way to his room, she's not carrying anything in either hand. No purse, no keys, no wallet, nothing. She has no purse over her shoulder either. Did she leave all of her things in her car? If the motive was robbery as some people have suggested, it doesn't make a lot of sense. She wasn't carrying anything to rob her of. Weird.
I think they said they found her wallet in the room She definitely doesn't have purse, etc, but could be carrying keys and wallet.
I'm still concerned abt the repor tof being found in dress/jacket and she goes in with a pants suit on.

I believe the part about the "tennis racquet" because Joran and his Dad played tennis together.

Every time I see that video of him in the hotel lobby with the shaved head and the big long white shirt/coat I picture Jack Nicholson in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

Did anyone notice his obvious stare into the security cam after he left the room? He was well aware of the recording.

Not sure, but when I am in any casino I never carry my purse, bag, etc.; for that very reason...don't want anyone to even think I might have money on me. Instead, I always carry a small, very small, wallet type thingy? with just my ID, $, cards, and room key card if I have one; and it fits / is concealed nicely inside any of my pockets (front or back).

Maybe that's what she did too. I think it's fairly common, at least amongst my family / friends...we do this too at amusement parks, concerts, etc. A quickly learned behavior of living in my city! lol

It was my assumption that he did it in wherever he stayed on Wednesday night in Vina del Mar.

According to this article, he was taken back there at some point by PDI to retrieve his belongings that he probably ditched after leaving the hotel in Peru. It was stated in this article that he "forgot which room he stayed in". A convenient excuse I guess for them to not be able to locate whatever evidence he took with him from the hotel in Lima.

You mean the same hotel room he was in for FOURTEEN days? Give me a freakin break!:furious:

Anyone know if the Greta special is just going to be her former interview with him or will it be additional info?

I hope it's going to be more than just this interview. We've been there, done that, it was a LIE!!!

grrrr,

I bet Geraldo will have something about it. I do know he's going to talk about the Stacy Peterson developments.

I thought they were referring to wherever he stayed after he left the hotel in Peru. According to reports, he then headed to the resort town of Vina del Mar (another casino resort). My understanding was that he stayed there for one night and then hit the road again. PDI supposedly took him back to the place at Vina del Mar and that's where he stated he couldn't remember which room.

Regardless, none of it makes sense. If he stayed at a room for one night at Vina del Mar, I'm sure that would be documented by that resort and they would know what room he stayed in.

No, if you very carefully view the lobby video, both of her hands are open and empty. It could be that he carried her wallet and keys for her if she had no pockets or purse, but her hands are empty. It also looks to me like she may be wearing a short skirt and tights, rather than slacks.

I think she's going to cover everything, at least that's the impression I got from what I heard earlier.

Heard he showered and packed and left. Noticed hes wearing a watch, saw it as he was leaving.
