He probably took it and giggled to his friends about stealing it. They probably asked him what he was gonna do with it. The bonehead probably hadn't thought that far ahead and returned it with his story. JMO

Oh for sure. He was probably drunk off his tail.

BTW we do not giggle here. I'm surprised he didn't get beat up.

Alas, next years beer week can go ahead with no problems.
