Bumping for Nancy. I am hoping to hear more on the bone examination results. Will these be public record, if and when they are made available? I am having a feeling we will be waiting a while.
Was there a confirmation these additional tests would definitely be carried out? And if so, how long does it normally take to receive the results?

Autopsy Report
I received this today. I was only able to glance over it as I have to be somewhere shortly. I will check back in tomorrow.

from the autopsy.....
In my opinion, the cause of death in this case is best certified as "undetermined."
So we will never really know what happened to Nancy; unless someone speaks up.....
I'm so sorry, Nancy.....

Seems like a lot of rib fractures in her past. Frustrating that there are no real answers..

I know she wrecked her bike after Chuck died. Do not know if the fractures were a result of that wreck or not.
Even though it is undetermined, that means the case will stay open.
Another observation - with no new broken bones tells me she did not fall/get hurt in those woods and not be able to get back home. Another thing is there is not indication on suicide as there weren't any weapons (knife, gun, rope) found with her body.
And if she was planning to disappear, she would have taken more than lip balm and 75 cents.
I still believe either she left with someone and OD'd and they dumped her or she was murdered.
Hopefully someday there will be answers!!
Big Love to Nancy

So sad to read.
One thought I had: I don't think she would have gone for a walk in the woods with just her flip-flops on... I do not think this was accidental in any way, shape, or form.

Agreed.
tequila, thank you so much for updating us. Sad that it took another 2 months after the original autospy to perform the bone examination. It is very unfortunate all round. How does one find answers from this point onwards?

RIP Nancy. As I have thought all along.. I doubt we will ever find out what happened to you. Its possible there was no foul play. I wear my flip flops everywhere. It could have been a stroke, a heart attack, endless possibilities. I just can't wrap my mind around you lying there for all that time so close to home and no one found you.

I haven't posted in this thread until now, but have silently been reading it from the beginning.
I agree that with an autopy report like that it leaves Nancy's Cause of Death open for natural causes and that it could be that she just went for a walk that morning and fate took it's toll in ways that you say in your post.
As for lying around for so long undiscovered. That too, I can see happening regardless how 'close' to her home or other houses she was. Simply could mean that in all that time noone else went along that exact same route. You can pass feet away in some places and not notice.
Might happen to be looking the other way at that moment when passing by or if actively searching, you may think you had already covered that particular spot when you hadn't. I can think of reasons where it could happen where someone dies in your property and depending on the set up, on the circumstances or on the lifestsyle of that person, not be found for a week or so.
May you be at Peace Nancy...

So very sad to read that - "undetermined" will haunt me. As will the phrase "across the street from her residence".
If a grid search had been done AT ALL, she would have been found.
Much love tequila and thank you for sharing that.

That's it. Her family and LE didn't search properly or hard enough for her. If they did, we wouldn't be here without answers.

That's a lot of previously fractured and healed ribs on both sides, plus the broken toe. Would be interesting if there are previous medical records that would support whether these fractures were, as Tequila pointed out, maybe the result of a previous motorcycle accident or not. If not, barring some kind of major trauma or accident, would make you wonder i she was previously a victim of domestic violence....at the hands of someone (doesn't necessarily had to have been a relationship partner.....could have been a family member?).
It's too bad that they're not able to do toxicology testing on bones but don't think that science exists?
