Other agencies in Western New York have taken a more aggressive stance with NamUs. The Erie County Sheriff's Office, Niagara County Sheriff's Office and a Niagara County coroner all confirmed they use the system actively and constantly update it with new missing persons and unidentified remains cases. The most recent local case in the system is the missing persons file for Heather Coburn, a 43-year-old who was believed to have gone over Niagara Falls. NamUs lists New York State Park Police as the investigating agency.

So, apparently her body hasn't been found yet. So sad.

This happened on the same day Heather Coburn went missing and I assume LE thinks this might be her

Police have launched a search operation in upstate New York this evening after a woman went over Niagara Falls.

Investigators say that at around 6pm the woman 'intentionally entered' the river close to Prospect Point on the American side of the waterfalls.

The New York State Police say the woman appeared to be in her 40s. Search efforts are currently focusing on the river below the falls. According to the Daily Mail, police have a video recording of the womans demise which was taken by a stunned onlooker. The tourist allegedly had video footage of the woman plummeting over the falls and handed it over to the police to help with the investigation.

What is a bit spooky Californian H.Coburn's family announced on the same day, Sept 19, that she has passed away.

On Saturday, Sept. 19, a beautiful soul decided that her pain and suffering was more than she could bare. On that day, Heather Coburn chose to end her life

Hmm I just googled address and it is not CA for California but CA for Canada with address just short time away from Niagara Falls.
I am quite convinced this could be really her, and she could be listed in NamUs only for identification purposes (DNA) once they locate the body. Picture or more details not being in NamUs profile could be due to family privacy reasons (sparing them of hell once or if media would find out) as she was somewhat celebrity. Due to existing video of incident in N.Falls family would know already her ordeal.
