I can't believe he spent time in Neah Bay...I am stunned. That is a perfect place to hide out. There is a place called Seiku, nearby.That is where all the fisherman and others go who want to enjoy a fishing vacation, eat, etc. But for him to list Neah Bay as a place to live, boy, that gets my alert meter shaking. I don't even know if there is a place to live there. Next to the cannery there used to be some rooms...ugh!

It is SO OUT Of the Beaten Path, that nobody would want to go there, no less live there...IMO. It would be a perfect place to ditch a body though. You are literally at the edge of the U.S. and if you drive and miss the log, you fall off the cliff into the ocean. I remember that day...LOL
 
So, he was in the Army. How long? Does anyone know? Did he get an honorable d/c. This guy could have been committing crimes for years...and hiding out in rural areas where people don't notice him.

He had no money despite the fact he was in the construction business. This is strange.

Here is a repost of the timeline I constructed from various sources:

1/7/78 IK was born. Place of birth unknown.

1994 approx. He built a cabin in Colville, WA when he was 16. Some time after that he helps build a cabin designed by his sisters in Houlton, ME. Info gathered from this photo in a directory but not published on his website: http://keyesconstruction.net/yahoo_s..._pics.15215524

1995-1997 according to his website: Worked for a General Contractor by the name of Kelly Harris in Colville, WA. on a seven man crew. Building approximatly 6 duplex/spec. Stick frame and log homes a year. http://keyesconstruction.net/work_history

1998-2000 His SS on public court documents starts with 127-86-*advertiser censored*. If the SS# info is correct, he got his SS# in NY around 1998. According to his website: Served three years in the Army Infantry and was stationed in Ft. Lewis, Ft Hood, and Sianai, Egypt. Honorable discharge in June 2000.

2/7/01 gets a DUI on Ft. Lewis, plea agreement signed June 4, 2001.

2002 according to statements made at his arraignment, IK has a ten year old daughter who would have been born around 2002.

2001-2007 according to his website, IK works for the Makah Tribe in Neah Bay, WA.

2006 runs a marathon in Olympia, WA.

2007 IK moves to Alaska.

2009 IKs girlfriend KA buys house on Spurr Lane where they live together. He remodels extensively according to neighbors.
 
Wow! Where is Spur Lane? Is it Anchorage or somewhere else?

Ok, this search is getting weird. I keep finding an Israel Keyes, listed as in his 40's, but his online profiles have him living in the same places or near the same places this Israel Keyes has lived. BUT, the strangest part of all of this I found a link (I posted it for about half a second then decided I better delete and keep looking for awhile) that says Israel Keyes age 39 was living in Montana but who is from somewhere in Washington was at his remote 2 room cabin when he killed his girlfriend, her son and then himself. WTH is going on? Is this just a different crazy man from the same area with the same name??? Here is the link:

Was he born with the name Israel? Shoot I've seen it written Isreal too..a play on words.

Is anything about him factual? If so, he has a bug to keep on moving on... I think we have a real nut on our hands.

I see nothing about him has been confirmed. Can't imagine the Makah Tribe hiring him. I think he may have done odd jobs for the natives there but that's about it...

I tried to get a job there once and I had experience but you MUST have a Tribal Patch. It clearly states it when you fill out the paperwork. Unless things have changed and they make exceptions for contractors, I doubt the Tribe employed him. Individuals, maybe....

I think this guy is a con...big time. He is a Mormon, born in n.y, and his notes say he is an atheist, I tend to believe that one. I think he is a Sociopath and/or a squirrel...no offense meant to squirrels.
 
I cannot get over his name. I need to see a birth cert. to believe it. Where is this guy's family, BTW?

"Is Real" could be an alias, FGS. This person could be a pathological liar...and never have been in the service or anything.

I must need some sleep because I just found a pic of an Isreal Keys and it looks like him "all cleaned up and smiling"..wearing a suit. I think I am seeing things...LOL. It is in Cambridge Mass. I need a drink...and I'll have to review this in the AM with better bloodshot eyes..

I found his family (or some of them) but I don't know if I'm allowed to post their names. I also found his myspace, there isn't anything on it though, and a online review with amazon where he reviewed a drill.

I am so impressed by this time table but look what was just posted.

Ok, this website of his needs some updates. It was just linked above that IK spent some time in Federal Prison and was realeased June 2001. Maybe that's where he got his Tribal Patch...LOL. He then says he went to live in Neah Bay...nobody goes to live in Neah Bay..IMO.
