If TLM had been the "engine" behind this and was telling MTR where to drive after the HD stop in Guelph, would she not have been able to tell police exactly where Tori's body was? I really don't think it would have taken 9 searches to find her if she knew the area well enough to tell MTR where to drive.

JMO

He didn't help lead the police to Tori and he was the driver. He is saying how messed up Woodstock is how everyone is on drugs. Pot calling the kettle black.:jail:

Now seeing new photos of the parking lot, taken by Darmon, from his car.

Nobody reported if TLM and MR made eye contact when she was finally done with testifying. I wonder if she looked at Rafferty? I wonder what Rafferty's facial expressions were when she left? Did he stare her down or not look up at all?

I want to be in that court room!!! lol

If MR wasn't involved in the kidnapping then why would he drive away with Tori. Also why didn't he get help at the Home Depot or the Tim Horton's stops? He is going to have some explaining to do when and if he has the guts to take the stand.

New photos taken in 2011. Showing Super 8 motel in Woodstock

New photo shows Queensdale Crescent in Guelph. McClintic says Rafferty stopped there to buy drugs.

Court is looking at photos of spots in Guelph McClintic said they visited before the murder

They had to drive around Guelph "for awhile" to find the home, but McClintic eventually remembered.

Photos include house in Guelph where they stopped to pick up drugs after abducting Tori, Home Depot where they stopped.

Next slides show Guelph Home Depot where the hammer was purchased.

Showing a PetroCanada near the Home Depot. Darmon says Rafferty used the ATM there.

Showing slides from the route on highway 6 north of Guelph.

McClintic told him to go to a safe house. She then killed Tori, as she spoke to her alone because Tori was afraid, Derstine says.

RaffertyLFP: Derstine suggests that McClintic offered Tori to Rafferty and he rejected the offer. McClintic says she strongly disagrees

McClintic rejects all of that. Derstine says Rafferty was horrified of the murder and helped McClintic clean up.
Derstine notes Rafferty had the blue knife in the car, and wouldn't have needed a weapon, in contrary to McClintic's prior statement

Derstine suggests her white coat only had blood on it because she killed and murdered Tori. So the coat was thrown away.

BBM Gosh, if he was so horrified why would he help her clean up!!

Showing photos of landmarks McClintic recalls passing.

Signs, towns, truck inspection station.

Really??? This is the defense strategy and the shocker we were supposed to hear for years according to the defense " we don't know all the details" This defense is going nowhere

Well at least Derstine is admitting MR was there. What does that mean?! MR is guilty. Tori died while in his and TLM's custody during an abduction.

Are we to believe MR did not sexually assault Tori?! Yet this is the guy who stalked out a teenager ten years his senior and within minutes of meeting her, took her out into the country to have sex with her. Possibly unconsensual sex. Hmmm. Nope not buying Derstine's claim MR was horrified at TLM's proposal. But MR did agree to help TLM abduct Tori?! Now the good stuff is starting to come out. I bet the jury had a real ah ha moment today.:moo:

And to top it off TLM was the one to direct MR to the site where Tori was murdered. There is a chapter coming up, cannot recall the title but it's something to do with MR's familiarity with Guelph and Mount Forest area. Will be interesting if the Crown calls upon MR's friend(s) who may claim MR knew this site. We will have to wait and see if that is so.:moo:

Police tried to plot McClintic's route north on highway 6 out of Guelph via landmarks she remembered -- a telecomm sign, a security company

The drive being described today is one McClintic took with police after being arrested.

Showing McClintic's drawn picture of the murder scene.

Map drawn by McClintic of where the body was left is shown to court.

Another sketch by McClintic shows location of rock pile, trees, lane. Circle with T on it designates body location.

We're looking at McClintic's drawings of the crime scene, plus an artist's sektch of the nearby house

On their drive, McClintic spotted side road six. Told Darmon that was where she and Rafferty dumped their shoes.

As they drove around, McClintic identified a gravel road (side road 6) where she disposed of her showed that night

Slide show not showing photos of the road.

Showing an image of Cambridge, taken from the 401. McClintic recognized the "Pride Signs" sign.

Court adjourned for 20 minutes.

Just got back on here, had a thought though, basically the defense is claiming that MR walked away and than came back to find Tori already killed, so what are they implying that someone else raped her while he turned his back? If so, since the defense knows the evidence, was there no semen found on Tori or someone elses???

Does anyone else find themselves wondering just whose side Derstine is on? So we're going with the innocent dupe defence, eh? Why didn't he go straight to police after, then? Anyone with half a brain would know that would be the smartest action to take. Why were Tori's pants off?

I'm beginning to think next really will be Rafferty coming to court with a colouring book and crayons, as someone so hilariously suggested the other day.

:twocents:

I'm wondering those same things as well.

Why would Tori have been scared of MR if he was such an innocent bystander in all this? If he really wasn't doing anything and TLM was the one who was so terrible would Tori not have reached out to MR in an effort to get help???!!! I really don't see how Derstine thinks he is helping his client!
