There is not much activity but a picture of her car - a red 2004 Ford Mustang- can be found there. Comments indicate it has a broken windshield which is not pictured. Not seeing any other updates elsewhere except that at this point LE is not suspecting foul play.

The search group had planned to pass out missing person flyers to students on campus but Lawson State officials did not allow them because they did not want this to create any panic on campus.

Still missing! Apparently LE was looking for a specific truck that was possibly linked to her disappearance. However, the person who owns that vehicle did come forward and is NOT a POI. No other new information.

Here is a link to an article from yesterday...

There seems to be a discrepancy about the name of the road where she was found. One article say County Road 313 and another says County Road 315. It would be nice to know which one is correct. Below is a link of a map from her starting point in Shelby, AL to Columbiana and then to County Road 313 OR County Road 315 as well as her final destination at Lawson State Community College (that she never reached).

Looking at the map I'm inclined to believe it was probably County Road 313. Perhaps a "short cut" to Lawson State?

I wish more info would be released. My imagination is going wild on what could have happened to this beautiful young lady. Prayers for her family.

After looking at multiple on-line articles, most of them say County Road 315, though that could mean that there was an error in the original article and it was copied over and over. Hoping more information is released today.

I live in north Shelby County, about 10-15 miles away from where this occurred. I believe she was found on Cty Rd 315. It's a heavily wooded area where it would be easy to miss a car unless you were specifically looking for one. Sheriff Samaniego is newly elected (I voted for him [emoji6]) and I believe in his capabilities to conduct a thorough investigation.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Haleigh's loved ones.

The bows represent the small town's outpouring of support for the family of Haleigh Green, after the body believed to be the 18-year-old from Shelby who disappeared July 6 was found Saturday by law enforcement in the Columbiana area.

"It's a sad situation and we are trying to do anything we can to help the family out," said Conn, who has raised more than $3,000 from the sale of the bows for the family. "Every single cent goes to the family."

On Tuesday, July 14, 2015 the Shelby County Sheriffs Office, with the assistance of the Shelby County District Attorneys Office, obtained a Murder warrant for 19 year old Demarcus Lamar Means of Columbiana, AL in connection with the death of 18 year old Haleigh Danielle Green of Shelby, AL. The bond set for the charge is $500,000.00. The Shelby County Sheriffs Office, with the help of the United States Marshals Service and their nationwide Fugitive Task Forces, are actively searching for Demarcus Lamar Means. Means is 604 tall, weighs 150 lbs, and has shoulder length hair. Anyone with information on Means location is asked to immediately call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $5,000.00 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of Demarcus Means. Sheriff John Samaniego stated, My office will continue to release information as it becomes available. I would like to thank the community and all agencies involved for their help in this case and ask for their continued support for the Green and Bivens family.

I believe I found the suspect's Facebook profile. I'm not linking because I'm not 100% positive and I don't want to break TOS. However, he attended Shelby High School and is friends with a relative of Haleigh's. If it is his, he even had the gall to post her missing picture on his wall!

May he be found and justice served!
