Maybe they had passed by the family once already...saw the child, and the turned back around to drive past them again and take pictures.

Apparently she just takes loads of pictures, why then on a phone? If she is a keen photographer surely she would use a camera? I would only use myphone if I was caught out without my camera

As soon as the reporter asks the question, Kate closes her eyes and Gerry starts touching his nose. Then Gerry talks about feeling as safe as if he was in a backgarden at home.

not saying either way, just eerie resemblence if you ask me. I've always thought Gerry to have a very unique look about him... shape of his head, etc. even the lips and nose are shaped the same. Just a thought. Wasn't it their friend that gave the description though? Surely she would know Gerry from this stranger. Still it's as though Gerry's description was used.

It gets worse ... the whole resort area is surrounded with grassy/dirt wastelands. So many places to bury something.
