The Westland police are asking for the public's help in locating a teenage girl who has been missing for more than a month.
Friends and family members of Carlee Jade Morse, 16, said she stepped out of her apartment building on Aug. 19 and has not been seen or heard from since.
Police said that at this time, there is no evidence of foul play and the teen does not meet the criteria for an Amber Alert.
Morse may be in the Livonia, Canton or Garden City area, police said.
The teen is described as white, 5 feet tall, weighs 90 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. She has a scar on her left side and a burn mark on her right ankle.
