Luv Luv Luv Elton John. I just saw him for the first time last Fall. He played 2 1/2 hours straight with sips of water in between. It was awesome. Somebody posted on the first thread from movie "Almost famous" Luved that movie. I have to say my growing (University) experience was more like the movie "Reality bites"

I have a favorite! :woohoo:

Elton John's Candle in the Wind for Princess Diana!

We were at an Aerosmith Concert the night she died. My stepson, wanted to go see a great new band he had just heard of.

He is awesome live. Most people have no idea how formidable his keyboarding skills are. I heard him do a 35 minute version of Burn Down the Mission that included nearly 30 minutes of straight jammin'.

Yes all looks beyond delish!!!! ^ Thank You

That's awesome!!!! I was in such awe I wanted to cry lol. We were so close too which made it even a better experience. Age certainly hasn't affected him in any way.

Yes! As it hasn 't affected...er....any of us! :blushing:

We went to see Rick Mercer Friday night. For those who are not Canadian or familiar with him check him out on Youtube. He is a hoot.

That's right, I'm goin' there. One of my favorite voices ever. And those of my generation can refrain from pretending they didn't like any of their songs or secretly hide their albums in the closet so their friends wouldn't see. ;)

Want to laugh. I saw Tom Jones at Madison Square Garden when I was 14.

Along a similar vein, I actually liked this song.

Okay, Bravo, this is for you, but I can't watch it because I'm afraid I may be permanently maimed. Had the same aversion when my sister's played it.
