Considering this is one of the very real possibility for Casey Marie Anthony's very near future, I though we might look at the Lowell Annex Facilities, where she would be housed IF she is found guilty, and placed on death row. There are currently (as of Thursday) 3 other death row females at Lowell Annex.

They are:
Women Currently on Death Row:

Tiffany Cole

DC# J35212 WF, born 12/3/81, was sentenced from Duval County on March 6, 2008 for her role in the double murder of a Jacksonville couple who was buried alive. She is currently on death row at Lowell Correctional Institution.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Emilia L. Carr
Carr.jpg
DC# U24131 WF, born 8/4/84 was sentenced from Marion County on February 22, 2011 for the kidnapping and murder of her co-defendant’s ex-wife, Heather Strong, 26. The co-defendants, who were dating at the time the time of the murder and have a child together, are accused of having lured Strong into a storage trailer behind Carr's mother's home, duct-taping her to a chair, putting a plastic bag over her head and suffocating her. The victim’s body was found a month later (March 2009) in a shallow grave. The jury recommended the death penalty by a 7-5 majority. Carr is currently on death row at Lowell CI Annex.

Margaret A. Allen

DC# 699575 BF, born 1/23/66, was sentenced to death from Brevard County on May 19, 2011 for torturing and killing her housekeeper, Wenda Wright, whom she thought had stolen money from her purse. The jury unanimously voted for the death penalty for her. She also got a life sentence for kidnapping. Prosecutors said the torture went on for hours before Wright was strangled with a belt. Allen's roommate, James Martin, and nephew, Quinton Allen, were both convicted for their part in helping her try to bury the body in a shallow grave.

Wow, so she will only be the fourth. Emeilia Carr sounds so very familiar, I need to so some more research!

Oh my .... I don't think ICA will like these ladies ( for lack of a better term ) very much.

Lowell Annex and Lowell CI are 2 separate facilities. Lowell CI is now closed, so ICA would most likely go to LA where Emelia and Margaret are.

Lowell Correctional Institution - where Tiffany Cole is (all by her lonesome)
Location Marion County, Florida, USA
Status Closed
Security class Minimum, Medium,
High, Death row
Capacity 1,244
Opened 1956
Closed 2011
Managed by Florida Department of Corrections

I do agree that she will go to the Annex facility opened in April 2002 and is under the Lowell C.I.It is a reception center and houses female inmates, including those on close management and death row. She'd prolly go there even if given LWOP (IMHO).

She would sure be a candidate for close management!

Virtual tour, of the cell, she'd spend the rest of her life in. Death Row cells are one-man and 6 x 9 x 9.5 feet high.

And the facilities for the lethal injection:

under the general facts is this little gem "They do not have...air-conditioning"

That makes me happy ...... on those nice humid and hot days of August ICA will be miserable

That's awesome - why should the Floridians pay to cool their heels. I hope they don't have heat either!

Showers: The inmates may shower every other day.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Security: Death Row inmates are counted at least once an hour. They are escorted in handcuffs and wear them everywhere except in their cells, the exercise yard and the shower.

Clothing: Death Row inmates can be distinguished from other inmates by their orange t-shirts. Their pants are the same blue colored pants worn by regular inmates

12.68 years is the average length of stay on Death Row prior to execution.

Trivia: The executioner:
Is a private citizen who is paid $150 per execution. State law allows for his or her identity to remain anonymous.

NO AC in FL in the summer months would be like living in total HELL!!!
I would've gone without food, before going without AC when I lived there!

Thank goodness it was a temporary stay. :)

It's not pretty:
In February 2009, Heather Strong, then a 26-year-old resident of Citra, Florida, disappeared while employed at an Iron Skillet restaurant at a Petro gas station next to Interstate Route 75 in Reddick.[8] She was reported missing on February 15. Her remains were discovered about on March 19,[6] in a shallow grave by a storage trailer in Boardman, near McIntosh, Florida. Carr was arrested on March 24, after investigators noted the frequency of her statements to authorities, ten in all without the presence of an attorney. Detectives also recorded undercover audio of Carr discussing details of the crime with Fulgham's sister. Carr, who at the time was seven months pregnant with Fulgham's child,[8] tricked Strong into the storage trailer behind the home of Carr's mother Maria and placed a plastic bag over her head after unsuccessfully trying to break her neck.[1] Strong eventually died of asphyxiation while bound by duct tape to a computer chair. She didn't die quickly.

At the sentencing phase, Allen cried on the stand as she tried to offer her condolences to the family of Wenda Wright, but all along Thursday, as she has since she was arrested, she denied any involvement in the murder of her housekeeper.

It was the first time the public heard anything from Allen since her arrest in February 2005. She did not testify in her own trial earlier this year.

She can have a 13" TV, but no cable.
I'm sure there will be plenty on mainstream TV about her to keep that smirk on her face.
IMO

Um - May 26, 2011 hasn't happened yet. What up with that?

Good catch!!! It actually was this past Wed. 5/18 so I don't know where they get that date from. I watched the video of the sentencing - she showed no emotion at all.

Florida Allows prisoners to choose between lethal injection and electrocution.
That's changed. They retired ole Sparky. No more. After a couple of unfortunate incidents (think Green Mile) they did away with the chair. Just lethal injection now.

That picture of the injection bed is terrifying. Just terrifying.

I haven't done anything wrong, and it scares ME!

It just makes it even more mind boggling that she wouldn't plea this out in the first place. That is either some special confidence or special arrogance she's got, thinking she can sweet talk and lie her way out of this big mess. It really is amazing.

Thanks for the update. Sparky's still on their website, as an option, so I didn't know.

She doesn't think more than 15 minutes into the future, so this isn't real for her yet.
