I saw Brad smirking while the judge was silently reading the email.

That's what I came away with as well.
 
They are taking a witness out of order and go back to Young later. This is the ATT security something specialist.

I would assume that the juror would be replaced by an alternate and things will resume..and the juror who did this would be excused..tho investigation could show more than just one juror involved??..JMOO of course!!
 
Is the possibility of juror misconduct somehow related to the reason they are taking a witness out of order? I might have missed the explanation.

I agree with LL. I assume they'd release that juror and replace them with one of the alternates. IIRC, the judge says, "all 16 members of the jury are present" so they must have 4 alternates.

It didn't sound that way. After they talked about the email, the prosecutor reminded the judge that they were taking a witness out of order. Maybe just a scheduling issue? It seemed to me this was something they had agreed upon previously.
 
I feel bad for those of you who can't see the screen. This is good stuff.

The witness being called out of order has nothing to do with the possible juror misconduct.
 
6:05 call to cell phone. I believe they are going to show that it hit a different tower than the 6:34 call. I can't believe he was that dumb.

ETA: I don't know if the call was to or from the phone.
 
I think because they mentioned a half day the prosecution really wants the jurors to leave on Friday and think all weekend about these early morning calls!
Give them some good evidence and let them stew over the weekend.
 
Concerning the technical aspects of this trial........the fact a juror sent a note to the judge yesterday asking about a number on a picture corresponding to witness testimony gives me hope this jury is on it's toes about taking detailed notes. :)
 
I am assuming this is a State witness and he is being questioned by an ADA..Observation~~ I much prefer this questioner to Mr. Cummings..as he was just too slow and sorry to say boring and easy to lose train of thougnts!!

Could it be that these Cell phone tower pings counter what Brad said his location was at those times??..

Please correct me if I am in error anywhere..TYIA
