Tod Fossetta says he may forgive James W. McBride -- sentenced Wednesday to life in prison for murdering Fossetta's sister -- if McBride admits his guilt and reveals where he hid the body.

Fossetta spoke after the sentencing hearing for McBride, 42, who was convicted Tuesday of first-degree murder for killing his wife, Kelly McBride, 17 years ago in the couple's Northampton Borough home...

DNA evidence showed that a mattress and a dresser at the McBride home were stained with the blood of a person conceived by Judith Evans and Robert Fossetta, Kelly McBride's parents. Kelly McBride's body has not been found.

On Feb. 10, 1984, Heckman said, she and friends were walking down a Northampton street when McBride came out of his house and asked them to join a party. Kelly McBride, Heckman said, was in the kitchen as her husband and other guests sat in the living room.

Heckman said James McBride was discussing how to commit a murder and not get caught. His suggestions, she said, included knocking out the victim's teeth so dental records couldn't be used for identification, burning the corpse in a barrel, and burying the body in a fresh grave, preferably the night before a casket was to be lowered.
