PALM BAY, Fla. - Family of the local man police said was trying to develop child *advertiser censored* pictures at a Wal-Mart kiosk and family of the girl involved believe the charges are unfair.

Brian Rozema of Palm Bay, Fl. has been arrested after leaving child *advertiser censored* at a help yourself photo kiosk at Wal-Mart. Police believe he didn't realize he didn't get them all when the machine ran out of paper or that a hard drive can be recovered.In a West Melbourne, FL. Wal-Mart the self-help kiosk happened to run out of paper, this one little everyday occurrence has led the police to a man's home and resulted in an arrest being made.

Just what led up to his arrest? He didn't get all of his photo's. When the machine was filled later by an associate and the rest of the photo's began developing what is said to be child *advertiser censored* the police were called in.

Wal-Mart handed over the photos and the hard drive to the police who then found over 100 photos had been printed out. Technicians were able to recover the 140 previously deleted photos and found among them pictures of Brian Rozema, 34, sexually battering a child under the age of 12, the police found he had known the child for years.

"It's not fair," Rozema's mother said.

Rozema's mother, who said she didn’t want her identity revealed, said she wanted to set the record straight about her son, who is charged with 122 counts of child *advertiser censored*, 13 counts of lewd and lascivious molestation and four counts of sexual battery of a 10-year-old girl.

"He didn’t rape her, he didn’t have sex with her. That didn’t happen," his mother said.

But police said that sexual battery, often synonymous with rape, can involve the victim's mouth or the suspect's finger.

"They are very graphic, some of the photos, of actual sexual battery and child molestation," West Melbourne police Cmdr. Steve Wilkinson said.

Rozema's mother admitted that there were a couple of pornographic pictures of the 10-year-old girl. She said it was inexcusable, but believes the girl wasn’t hurt.

WESH 2 reporter Dan Billow asked Rozema's mother if she felt that the girl was hurt.

"No, not at all," she said. "She was unaware of, completely, she had didn’t know anything that was going on."

The girl's grandmother, who also defends Rozema, said many of the pictures he took weren’t objectionable and the girl is just fine. http://www.wesh.com/news/14180265/detail.html

if i read this correct he has pictures with this childs mouth or his mouth or their hands engaged in a sexual act. the child did not really understand what was going on and was not raped so the family thinks he is over charged. after all the girl is fine now.:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: i am unable to put into words my disgust for them right now with out using words that will get me banned. it is amazing what kind of behavior people can excuse when they want to.

Sounds like everyone in both these families needs therapy fast..and thre little girl needs to go under protective services and find a new home where she is truly loved and not an object.

I think you're right on the money. I can't believe they are defending his abuse of this little girl.
 
They are all going burn. How the hell can you say she wasnt hurt by this? They have no idea how she is feeling inside. Sick freaks.:banghead:
 
i actually cried when i read what you guys posted. i have said before i was abused and had a family that made excuses for the sicko. after all these years it still means so much to hear people stand up and say this is wrong. it was abuse and she is a victim. no matter what you know in your head when you family turns against you to protect the abuser it is painful. this child was abused by the pervert and again by her family when they ignore the pain and shame that accompany this type of abuse. i do not have alot of faith in the child protective services in Florida but i pray this child will not slip through the cracks. all children that are abused need therapy to deal with it so they dont have to struggle for years with feelings they can barely identify like many victims in years past have. a child that can not turn to her own loved ones for support needs it even more.
 
That's so sad. Looks like karma stepped in to protect the little girl when her own family didn't. The guy got caught because the photo printer ran out of paper, and he left not realizing some of his photos hadn't printed out yet.

These freaking all need to go to jail...how could anybody justify what this man has done? Surely this child is affected by his actions. Assholes!
