Being reported on CNN. 48 people +crew , no word on injuries, deaths Not sure if it is a terrorist attack,

Press conference right now. The sound is bad, but it sounds like 48 people were on board. At least one person on the ground deceased. The residents of the home were taken to the hospital.

It happened at 10:20 PM ET. Fire still burning. 12 homes evacuated, people were taken in by their neighbors.

There not sure, so far no mechical problems terrorism not ruled out

Stan lives around there too.
 
does anyone know exactly where this is? okay I see it is in Clarence area. This is awful!
 
They said there are no reports so far of any distress calls coming from this plane before it crashed. (MSNBC)

New York state police say a 74-passenger commuter plane has crashed into a home in suburban Buffalo, N.Y.
State Trooper John Manthey said the plane hit a house in Clarence Center at about 10:10 p.m. Thursday. The house was engulfed in a massive fireball.
Dave Bissonette, the emergency coordinator for Clarence Center said there were, "multiple fatalities."


"This is clearly a tragedy," said Bissonette. "Our prayers and thoughts are with those involved."
The Federal Aviation Administraion said the flight was Continental express commuter operated by Colgen Air. The 74-seat Bombardier W400 was flight number 3407 and was running about two hours late on a trip between Newark, N.J., and to Buffalo.
The FAA confirmed said there were 48 people aboard the airplane.
Authorities have not said what happened to the passengers and crew of the plane, they said two people who were not aboard the plane were taken from the crash site to area hospitals.

Firefighters got the resulting fire under control but remained at the scene as several fires burned.

They are saying all aboard plane killed & 1 on the ground so far!

Majority people were emergency responders. Two women live on that street got out. No one else accounted for.
 
Pilot landing at same time says vis 2 miles out....light snow. Does not think it was weather related.
 
Crash occured five miles from runway. Pax, crew and one person on the ground dead.
 
Two on ground may have been taken to hospital, waiting for word.
