In which Kathi Belich states:

KB: "Nejames states that it's not right that Smith's criminal past is coming back to haunt him. Today channel 9 found out that he was accused 20 years ago of sexual battery but charges were never filed."

So it appears that the courthouse holds information not just on Michelle but also on DSJr that we're not aware of because it's not on the Orange County Clerk site because for whatever reason, people chose not to got through with the charges. Maybe someone local can check into this one and host it and post it for us to see. And see if there are any others.

So no matter what his lawyer says, DSJr has a long history of assault, battery, sexual assault etc. And this is not just a record from a young guy acting out. He was in his twenties for cripes sake when these charges started piling up. Not a kid but a grown man who knew better. And these aren't petty "kid" type charges. To suggest that he has "changed" is ridiculous IMO. DSJr has a problem. Now whether it's alcohol related or some personality disorder it needs to be addressed. Because it's very possible that someone has finally died by his own hands as a result of it.

And there are two young innocent children in his care at the moment. I shudder at the thought.

IMO, Dale Smith Jr. has a mental disorder and and needs treatment. Not self-help treatment. Not AA. Serious psychological treatment.

IMO, he has the traits of a sociopath. Inflicting violence on others for no reason at all (victim #1, the young man who Dale helped kill when he was 20, and the pregant lady on the beach in South Carolina when he was a marine), is a hallmark of that personality disorder. These two were literally random stangers picked out for his own amusement, I guess.

And then of course, there's the violence he's inflicted on those he supposedly loved (his second wife, his next fiance, and then Michelle Parker).

I've learned something from this case. Never, EVER take someone's word for who they are. Before you start a serious relationship, before you marry that person, check their criminal record. It's easy to do. Could save your life.

And his criminal record should come back to haunt him!

**Goal of enslavement of their victim(s)
* Exercises despotic control over every aspect of the victim's life
* Has an emotional need to justify their crimes and therefore needs their victim's affirmation (respect, gratitude and love)
* Ultimate goal is the creation of a willing victim
**Narcissism, grandiosity (self-importance not based on achievements)
May state readily that their goal is to rule the world

How many of these fit Dale based on what we know?

My thoughts have been ok how did he do this..I keep going back to Dale and the condo...The timing is so close to the time she went missinig when she was at the condo....its would be hard to say Michelle's other acitivites that afternoon had a play in it... at least for me it does unless someone grabbed her really near the complex. (back to carjacking but it didnt seem to fit here)

Thanks Captdj for the clarification! IMO that gives me (well actually Dale) a revenue generation idea. What if Dale were to continue a popular book series? He is out of work, has some time on his hands, and "desperately needs money" according to his attorney. So what if he wrote the next version of "If I did it" ? Just saying...

Let's see...if Dale is now unemployed, he's probably getting the max of $274.00 in unemployment benefits (less taxes), public assistance.. foodstamps...my guess would be about $350.00 a month, medicaid, and then there's also wic for the twins.

JMO, but if he can't find a job, then he may have to sell or rent his condo, sell his truck if it's not paid for, and what about the hummer? If LE still has it, then who's paying for it? Lots of $$ to go out, but not a lot coming in. JMO

Someone had created a donation page for him early on, not sure if it was for him or for the twins, but it has since been taken down.

I have a feeling ...that North Carolina knows a lot about Smitty's Bad Behavior...Im just not good at searching records up there...

He was in the Marines at Camp Lejuene and we know of some of the things he did while there but my guess is there is a lot more we don't.
