What I meant was we don't know when it actually washed up before they found it. Could have been 10 minutes or several hours. Other body parts found If I remember right on saturday morning.

My Mistake sorry.. still 28 hours from New Orleans to Mississippi I still believe it happened soon after they left the club!

No. Hancock County has placed a hold order on Sanchez. "We are assuming it is a material witness hold," said McIntyre. Eventually, Hancock County prosecutors will have to file more information. Otherwise, there may be a hearing here on the status of Sanchez.

"They'll probably have to file again," said McIntyre.

"They could come back with a new extradition or affidavit today, tomorrow or next week," said McIntyre. "If they don't come back we would file to have a hearing on a bond."

Sounds like you're referring to the gate by Fort Pike. Those gates are locked, no public access.


I was thinking it would be easy to dump something from a train bridge. They are usually out of the way and not as likely to be seen by anyone.....

I know I've mentioned it before, and even I dismissed it, but I think these two were inspired by Luka Magnotta, who was heavy in the news and had just been captured when Jaren was murdered.

As we know more, it sounds like the body was dismembered in exactly the same way as Lin Jun's was. I don't think it's coincidence.

Not exactly a "copycat," but I think Luka was the inspiration for these two, or at least part of the inspiration in the way Jaren's body was treated after the murder.

Yeah because there are bulldozers out there pushing sand around like crazy. No telling what might be buried that washed up only to be discovered later from a child with a sand bucket and a shovel. They really need to close the beach and send cadaver dogs out there.

There are very few places accessible by car or foot between East New Orleans and the Silver Slipper Casino in Mississippi. The Rigolets is a good place to investigate as it drains Lake Ponchartrain into Lake Borgne then into the Mississippi Sound. US Highway 90 crosses it. Another area might be between the Silver Slipper and Buccaneer State Park. The body would have then gone in an northeast direction with the clockwise current of the Gulf. When I first heard the story, I figured they dumped the body from a boat to get in the ocean a ways, but I am thinking these two would have been too incompetant to operate even a small craft. Plus, the body washed up relatively quickly which ruled that out.

There is no lack of rural or isolated places around New Orleans straight through to Biloxi where the two could have done this to Jaren.

I just wonder if Sanchez and Speaks were aware that cameras would catch them leaving with Jaren, and, really, if they weren't aware, how could they not be? One would have to be majorly polluted to disregard the cameras that one knows are there, while luring a girl to her death.

and there you have it ladies and gents. Speaks is incarcerated for almost 4 years, yet when released literally 3 months later he is again arrested and charged.. receives 36 months Supervised Probation.. and from there he ABSCONDS in 2010 and as we know is found as of 2days ago in LA..

Sorry this is as far as I've gotten and not sure how I'm going to be able to accurately timeline him from 2010 to present(save the last 6months or so) ..will work more on it later tonight when i have some time.. anyone feel free to add or edit :)

Just to clarify the rain timeline:
Because I love rain & have to re-arrange the work done at my business (in D'iberville, MS) around the rain, I recall it was not raining the day she was killed (Wed.) nor the day her torso arrived on our shoreline (Thurs.)
The torrential downfall began on Friday & that's what kept me indoors -& hooked on this case.

I've been fishing along the south shore area many times. At the tip on both sides of the interstate are roads and rocky beaches. It is used sporadically such that there is often no one around, but a car parked there wouldn't draw attention. It's easy enough to get to that someone unfamiliar with the area could easily reach it.

My best guess is around there was where they dumped the remains.

Found a divorce record for "Terry Christopher Speaks" in 1998 in the google news archives. Methinks the 1995 assault charge, the 1997 harrassment charge, and the 2000 violation of a protective order charge may be in relation to his apparently shortlived marriage (provided that's him, but it seems likely)
 
Hey Ya'll!!!

First time posting! I tried to post last night, but took awhile to get approved.

I live and work in the quarter. I worked with Jaren as well as with MAS. I also wanted to reiterate what skeeball mentioned. I was introduced to TS by MAS as her Husband. She told everyone they were married and if I'm not mistaken, was told that TS had decided to take her name. I believe that's when he started using the last name Sanchez. IMO, the one time I met him, he was shady and came off like a cocky schmuck. (that was the cleanest word I could come up with. Can I say that?)

I also figure that it was slow on the night Jaren left early. It's a wed during the summer in New Orleans. It's not weird to see girls leave the clubs early if they're not making money. I read the article that mentioned MAS walked right up to a dancer and had a conversation with her about leaving, if it were busy, she probably couldn't have had that much time to chat, these clubs aren't very big.

I also agree that the three blocks they all walked were probably on their way to their vehicle. I believe MAS used to park either off the 100 or 200 block of bourbon. Once off bourbon, there aren't many business cameras covering the streets.

If I remember correctly, I believe MAS has two small boys that are staying with family, which is why I think they were up in TP. I assume she was trying to pick up the kids and ditch town. At any rate, IMO if she got a phone call, it was probably to the caretaker of her kids, not to her father.

I know I"m very interested to see what the dogs found in the field by the airport behind her house.

Personally, I don't believe that MAS is the "mastermind" that people keep talking her up to be. She's a pushover and is probably the puppet in all of this, but I could be wrong. I'm sure with drugs involved, anything is possible, and now with all these new drugs I"m just hearing about! Not sure what to think anymore.

Oh, and to answer someone's earlier question, the house in kenner is about 20 min out of the french quarter, maybe 15 at that time of night.
