I wonder if she was calling this marine to see if he could help her get out of Florida - remember she left her purse in the abandoned car.

If she could have gotten out to California - it would have looked more like a car-jacking. (no casey & no Caylee)

I totally believe this too! When I read that in the documents about her having to tell him something, the first thing I thought was that she was going to tell him he was the baby's father or just get him curious enough to pay for her plane ticket out there and then get there and disappear,using yet another person in this little game of hers. :furious:

I don't know about telling him he was the baby's father - I just think she told him that things were bad at home and she needed to get away for a little while. Once she made it to California she could have shacked up with him for a bit - and then moved on to her next victim -- after all she is a professional con.
 
Did LP mention if YM would also be interviewing Rob the BG? Or anyone else on the LP team?

I hope so. In addition to the Marine's possible key info, I've been wondering if Rob could add some additional critical information regarding activity while Casey was out last time on bond. For example, it was stated by the Padillas that Casey spent much of the time on the Internet or on the phone. If LE needed to specifically prove that Casey was the one on line from a specific computer in the home at a given time, (perhaps doing additional post-cholorform searches, soliciting donations on line [we don't know that Casey didn't use donation $ via pay-pal while she was out, to my knowledge,] or whatever,) then perhaps Rob could provide an eye-witness account that Casey was on line at a specific time, from a specific pc?

As well, he was KC's escort to and from JB's and case-worker visits. It is possible he was privvy to some interesting conversations coming and going from these appointments (beyond high-fives...). I am wondering if a YM interview with Rob might be pretty high-value?

Thoughts?
 
I bet there is a lot of red tape to go through for the military. They do have their own system... I dont know the laws how it pertains to civillians getting a military witness. My Dad was in the Marines. I wouldnt be able to ask him until tomorrow. He's the smartest man i know. Which reminds me, he probably knows something about chloroform as well. He used to be into chemistry as my grandfather was a surgeon. He's in FL- on the Gulf coast. My brother is a deputy in a County Sherrifs Office close by Orlando. But... yeah, i already asked and he doesnt know anything :) He didnt meantion death, as i thought he would. He mentioned sending Caylee off. But i'm not reading into anything. I dont have all the information i need for a conclusion...

I can't remember how WS found out about him, but remember what Casey said about having already told her Mom and Lee something and needing to come out and tell him. I'm not sure why LP says that if she trusts anyone to tell anything it would be him. Nancy didn't buy that, but who knows.
 
Hrmm... marine in California-- some have thought that, perhaps, he is Caylee's father.

Maybe he's going to collect some good ole DNA from the marine?

I posted this awhile back--

I noticed the bedspread in the picture (with the marine) looked very close to the bedspread that was in the picture of ZG myspace. ZG address is the Motel 6 (in the doc). I was wondering if marine made a trip to Florida and booked his room at the same Motel 6 (and that may explain how Casey came in contact with ZG)
