Search warrant for millionaire's home reveals disturbing details into investigation

Disturbing new details of investigators' allegations behind the rape charge against Mark Giannini are being uncovered.

Giannini is free on a $150,000 bond. The charges against him "disgust" Deborah Clubb with Memphis Area Women's Council.

"It's nauseating and it's terrifying," she said. "It's horrific, and it's chilling to know that this has been happening there."

O M G evil lives amongst us.
hope he burns in h-ll.

Hard to believe that after this man did all that to the woman, he actually let her live. I'm thankful for that. Did he think that there would be no followup to this? That he would just get away with it? Has he done this before with no repercussions? It is just unthinkable.

Thanks for the "warning" ... wish I had paid attention to it. I hope the perp gets what he deserves, and without delay.

It's enough to give you nightmares. How can this poor woman ever put her life back together again? I feel so sorry for her.

His digital footprint should reveal so much more.

Memphis Businessman Allegedly Raped Woman On Job Interview In His Home (GRAPHIC CONTENT)

Recently released police documents detail an alleged grotesque rape of a mother of four who wanted a housekeeping job in the home of a Memphis businessman.

The suspect is the businessman himself, Mark Giannini, the co-founder of IT company Service Assurance, according to WREG. He allegedly repeatedly raped a 26-year-old for several hours until she blacked out on June 19.

he Eads, Tenn. man who was arrested on drug and firearms is back behind bars, this time charged with aggravated rape.

Mark Giannini, 48, was booked around 7:20 p.m. Wednesday and posted a $150,000 bond.

It was the rape allegation he was recently charged with that initially brought investigators to his home earlier this week.

Giannini is the founder of a local IT company called PackRat. He is also author of a book called The Tallest Pygmy. His online biography lists six community organizations with which he is involved.

Lawyers say businessman accused of rape was set up

Mark Giannini now has two mugshots: one taken Tuesday after an arrest on drug and weapons possession charges, for which he bonded out on, and one taken Wednesday when he was charged with aggravated rape.

Giannini has hired the so-called dream team Steve Farese and Leslie Ballin to defend him.

I think I'm going to be sick. I wish I could talk with this woman and help her. My own attack while I was in the Army was horrific and I'm still going through treatment for PTSD 15+ years later. I hope to god she is getting the help, she needs to survive this immediately.

I'm from the Memphis area originally, and I have to say that in addition to the gruesome details this case is making me more than a little sick because:

a) I lived right down the road from this "businessman";

b) He looks awfully familiar, and I don't mean from newspaper photos; and

c) I know both Steve and Leslie from way back and while I believe everyone is entitled to adequate representation, the fact that they have taken this particular case is disgusting to me.

Just wanted to give you a big hug...

Umm are there a number of missing women in the area, all those panties in different sizes and shoes make me think he picked up a lot of women and had them dress in what he wanted which would be ok, even the bdsm toys except for his actions here. It wouldn't be the first time a killer lets someone live and their murders are found out after that.

Is it common for law enforcement to release a narrative on a rape? Also, can anyone find the link for his PackRat IT website? All I can find is the Pack Rat Storage company & they've put out a statement of non-affiliation with him.

http://www.wmcactionnews5.com/story/26877198/accused-rapist-gianninis-case-moves-to-grand-jury

Prosecutors charged Memphis businessman Mark Giannini in June with aggravated rape, in addition to drugs and weapons charges. Now, his case is moving to a grand jury...

Giannini is accused of unspeakable acts against women in his Eads home. In June, a woman who says he hired her for a house cleaning job accused the well-known business and civic leader of drugging her and raping her for hours.

The comments on local news reports defending this man and blaming the women make me sick.
I don't care if you are a prostitute or a *advertiser censored* star, even if you agree to have sex, no one has the right to practice sexual sadism without the consent of the partner.
The lawyers in this case, considered the best criminal defense lawyers in the area are going with the defense that he didn't do anything against the law, he just has an alternative lifestyle.
There's no law against sexual sadism but there is a law against forcing sexual sadism on an unwilling victim without consent.
I hope the courts don't allow this guys money to pay his way out of justice for his victims.

Jury finds Mark Giannini not guilty of aggravated rape
A jury of nine women and three men on Friday acquitted Shelby County businessman Mark Giannini of raping a woman, who testified he violently assaulted her in 2014 during what she thought was going to be a job interview.

Giannini nodded his head after the not guilty verdicts on all three charges were read and embraced attorney Steve Farese, while the woman in the case sobbed.
