Re: the 1st words between ICA & her parents in their 1st jail visit.

"Don't worry I didn't say anything" (to the shrink she told them she was just talking with before they arrived) and CA's response was it would've been "ok" if she did.

So, what were they talking about? I believe it was re: the fight they had on the night of Father's Day..Earlier that day CA supposedly heard from her mom about ICA stealing from her..JG says Lee told him CA even tried to "choke" ICA..That would def make ICA take Caylee & leave the house putting this entire horrible situation in motion..I can see where they all would want to keep this quiet.

I have a horrible feeling that Baez will bring it up at some point, probably show that part of the tape, & claim it's about the "sex abuse"..Wait & see! Ugh!

Breakfast looks soooooooo good. Much better than my protein shake.

I didn't get to see the trial yesterday, but from what I read, I didn't miss much.

This might be a dumb question...BUT...Since there are other "qualified" lawyers on the "Dream Team"...Can ICA still try to appeal for Incompetant Representation?

Agree. IMO, not arresting anyone is kind of like giving these people unspoken permission to continue the Jerry Springerlike behavior while waiting in line for the days proceedings.
 
Good morning all :) I can finally watch a part of this trial from beginning to end today! I enjoyed the virtual breakfast waffles very much, but now I'd like to have a "real life" waffle!

My wishes for today:

- get with the program JB, there was no blood and you know it, we all know it, the jury knows it, KC knows it, and your questions on whether there was some or not DON'T MAKE ANY SENSE !

- JB, I truly hope you found a few witnesses that are a tad less boring than yesterday's FBI DNA specialist. Just a tad would go a long way!

- JB, please keep confusing yourself with your own questions.

- LP, go home and close your mouth.

Promised the kiddo a bon fire this evening if it doesn't rain but had to change plans due to an out of state friend being in town. Cubby! Isn't there a series starting with Cubs/Yankees today? I'd pick that over a bonfire - or the Shedd Aquarium, or Brookfield Zoo is having a thing where you can feed the stingrays. I don't know how old your guest is but that might be cooler degree wise than a bonfire. I give ya snaps for being a good mom - a promise is a promise!

After yesterday's fun I have to say for certain that JB is going to bore the pants off us yet again. He's over his head with all of this despite HHJP's fine schooling and today will drag on. At least we have the cross to look forward to.

Hope today is better than yesterday but considering it is the defense up I am not expecting much.
 
Today Show is saying Dateline will have a special on the case tonight!

I think it started because the man had one of the women's child in a headlock? None of them were right, but I was shocked to see the dark haired boy scoot out from under his arm after the mother (I believe) started punching him. And then they just all follow the line because they want to get into the trial so bad. Why would anyone have their child in that kind of atmosphere? It really is a circus, and not the fun kind.

I think we all covered that somewhat at the start...I think it is just a way to keep up with the "cma" initial bit and thats what they came up with....

Not a dumb question, at all: she can try to, but if I remember correctly, the judge has her on record approving of and being satisfied with her counsel. That right there could be used against her if she tries to play out the "incomp rep" card.

That would be insane for Jose to bring that up, it gives motive. But then again, we are talking about Baez.

The reason Illinois does not have cameras in the courtroom is because it would be 24/7 video of politicians on trial. LOL:floorlaugh:

With just over 900,000 posts here I'm afraid it would be impossible to catch up on this forum, however I too am interested in the same question. LT member here but new to this forum since the trial started. Hope you enjoy it here, best group of peeps on the web!
 
Good Morning all! I have been reading here everyday since the trial started and I have a few questions maybe you all can answer.

1. Why cant the jurors discuss this case amongst themselves? I dont get the reasoning behind that.

2. If they arent allowed to discuss the case with each other, then why is whipsering allowed between jurors, while in the courtroom? Obviously its about the case, right?

3. Why did the judge allow juror #4 on the jury if she dosent like to "judge" anyone? I know the defence fought for her and why was this allowed? Seems like its not "fair" already.

4. How do defence lawyers sleep at night? Seriously. They KNOW their client is guilty. Where is the justice for caylee?

5. Why cant the jurors see ALL that we see of casey anthony? If I were on the jury and let someone off because I didnt have ALL the info, I would be majorly upset about this. I think this so called justice system is very faulty.

Your thoughts?
 
Totally off topic, but did anyone else hear the news last night that Joran van der Sloot is going to be a father. That is just sick and so unjust that he is being allowed conjical (spelling) visits with his girlfriend. It seems like he has it made in that Peruvian prison. It is just so wrong.
