Anthonys pushing for jailhouse funeral for Caylee!

I watched Lee's attorney on JVM tonight and he was talking about how long it has been since the A family has been able to see Casey...and that was part of the motivation for wanting this private service at the jail. What he fails to mention is the fact that nobody has been stopping the A's from seeing Casey except Casey!

And as I said before...I don't see JB jumping on this bandwagon to get a private service. I don't believe he or Casey wants it. I find their silence very telling. I bet they are waiting for the big "NO WAY" from the jail...then he can step out and say "Hey - look how mean everyone is to my client in her time of grief." Phooey.

I am clinging to this mighty hard and fervently, LaLaw. HTH you, too:

If there have been talks to reunite the Anthonys behind bars, the jail is not confirming them.
"No such request has been received by Orange County Corrections," spokesman Allen Moore said. "It is highly unlikely such a request would be granted."

Thanks, PH.

If the judge lets this happen, I'm moving to Canada. Because then we'll know that our justice system has completely gone off the deep end. I can't believe the A's would even consider this. Lock 'em all up and then they can have their little "family reunion". Leave precious Caylee out of it. Haven't they made mockery enough of her short life?

I don't understand the attorneys in this case. The family, yes - they are so dysfunctional they are clueless to their dysfunction. Nothing surprises me coming from them. I really don't think they have any idea how disturbed they are, and I'd bet they are baffled by the fact the reasonably healthy population looks at their actions with horror on a regular basis. It's apparent to me they just don't "get it" and I doubt they ever will.

The attorneys really should know better, though.

whiteangora, that is an insult to the alleycats! (LOL)

I do not like Conway or even Luka. Why would these two lawyers think this is good publicity for them? Now their names will forever be associated with these sleazy antics!

Wish there would be a little honor and respect from these two for little Caylee!

ITA! I don't know, these two are probably thinking "gee, 6 weeks ago we were chasing ambulances, now we are on national tv. We are famous and life is good." LOL - Famous idiots.

I am in the middle of reading this thread and had to stop to comment!

I am so disgusted, angry, and sickened over this development! There have been jailhouse/prison weddings, but I have NEVER heard of a jailhouse funeral! IF they wanted to bring the ashes of a cremated Caylee to this so called service, it would probably be the first instance of the victim of a murder brought to the killer in jail!!! Now, I know Casey has NOT been convicted, but she HAS been indited on a first degree murder charge.

I could just spit! The Anthony's could request a Special Visit (which is not unheard of), but no service should be performed. And ABSOLUTELY NO CAYLEE ASHES!!!

Surely the authorities would not grant this farce and circus to take place! I do not believe for one moment that this 'service' will be allowed in the jail.

Why can't there be some honor and dignity for little Caylee? WHY???

Above bolded by me:
Honor and dignity doesn't seem to be in the A's vocabulary.

And what is that? Please, do share!!

Orange County Jail, is very, very secure , they don't allow anyone not in corrections in contact with prisoners, even when I have to pick up clients, I have to wait in the Salle Port till they are escorted to me.

Their Chaplains are employed by DOC, NO outside contact what so ever unless it by someone who's established creditionals...

I really can't see them allowing a "non-prisoner" service of any kind.

I hoped that by the time I got to the end of the thread someone would've posted that this report was made in error. But that hasn't happened, and it's not April Fool's Day, so it must be true.

I could understand if they requested a family visit with a clergyman or family counselor present, perhaps. I wouldn't find fault with them for that. To call it a memorial for Caylee, though, is outright disgusting!

Why don't they just put the poor child to rest? No one need be present but the immediate family -- mother excluded -- and a few close friends who knew and loved the child. Let the media stay home. If anyone else wants to honor her, they can do it on their own. Skip all the damn fanfare! No public spectacle needed!

bold me

:laugh::biglaugh: Isn't that the truth!

The dynamics of this family has to be the strangest I have ever heard of. They don't want the funeral to be at the video conferencing center across the street. They want a family reunion right there in the jail house so they can hug each other and mourn Caylee. I can't help but think that if only Casey had told them the truth those times she was bonded out of jail, they could have had their own little reunion on Hopespring Drive.

I have tried so hard to give the Anthony's the benefit of the doubt. I really truly thought that there was NO WAY they realy believed Casey, that in private they knew she did it. But I just dont see how they could know the obvious GLARING truth and even THINK of a jailhouse memorial.

There is no dignity given this poor child from her own family. I am disgusted.

Well, I certainly hope they invite Zanny.

She deserves to be there too.

While they're at it, they could have a memorial for the poor unfortunate squirrels who passed away unexpectedly under Casey's car.

Its crazy time! :woohoo:

Oh, and Chili Guy...

it's sad.
perfect strangers to Caylee adore her and want what is right for her.
Her family? Not so much so.
moo

This family just does not stop. Surely to goodness they are not gonna allow such a thing at the jail. KC could care less about anything or anyone but herself. Maybe if she can pretend cry and get her five minutes of fame she will agree to it.

I hope this is not allowed. Caylee needs to have a dignified memorial and not in a freaking jail. I swear.

Thank Goodness!! It makes me sick to my stomach to think of that "baby killer" at Caylee's service. I was just starting to like BC. Not anymore. One big IDIOT

I guess BC needed his media fix for the day, so we get treated to the very kind of ridiculous stuff that makes people dislike his clients. It's like some twisted idea of what a functional family would do, ignoring the fact that one of them may well be the murderer of the person whose memorial it will be. I totally get that the A's need to have a service and mourn Caylee. Hanging with Casey - nope.
