Seems like these would be the tracks in that unsavory area near the adult bookstore.
What's to stop some of those unsavories from walking towards N. College ave? Which direction would they be coming from? Homeless people often find shelter in new construction. Are there any cameras on the new construction? Is there fresh cement there at the 2 construction sites poured since June 2nd?

The quote is very vauge about the location.

If, by "last seen" they mean the verbal report saying she was walking south on College Ave. Just west that would somewhere near the area I've marked my "map" in yellow.

If by "last seen" they mean the alley video, just west of that would be the Morton Street area.

There are no cameras at the new construction, or anywhere in that area of 11th that I've seen.

The main architecture of the new construction building is concrete. It has been poured for quite some time. I think they finished up in Dec. - Feb. time frame.

He's quoting the movie Major Payne, which is a comedy, so I'm not sure anything should be read into it.
 
My husband just explained to me what agent orange is.... I had no idea. For anyone out there that doesn't know, he described it as a chemical-based liquid, sprayed by planes in the jungles during the Vietnam War to kill the plant life to aid in better sight for the US troops in combat. This agent orange was sprayed even with the US troops present in the jungle which ended up causing long term health problems.
 
Hi All, I also saw the Dexter Pic on JW FB page a few days ago.....Are the old limestone quarries still open at all?? I think they are all closed, and secured, but does Equisearch search such areas?? Limestone/quarries not very protein friendly.

Several quarries are still being worked. Most are closed. None are "secured".

There are a couple that the college students go swimming at. There are a handful the locals go swimming and fishing at. Normally the 2 groups don't mix.

One of my fondest teen memories was sneaking to the quarries to watch the college girls skinny dip. :rocker: :woohoo:

Little did we know they were full of [ame="http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=pcb+westinghouse+bloomington+indiana"]PCB's[/ame] caused by illegal dumping of bad transformers from Westinghouse. Some of them are now part of the EPA Super Fund to clean them up. Not that they are actually doing much cleanup. :banghead:

Yep. I hiked out to some of the quarries when I was in school 5ish years ago, the area is beautiful but of course I wouldn't have gone swimming in them at that point! If someone were looking for a place to dump something though, I don't think they'd be high on the list. They're pretty difficult to get to with a lot of walking involved. At least from my personal experiencs, I haven't been to all of them though.
 
there's a man-made pond type thing within a median a few blocks away from 11th and college. the median lies between college and walnut streets...wonder if they've checked within that water?
 
Its my turn to ask a question.

I've seen reports that Laurens keys and purse were found at Kilroys.
I've seen reports that Laurens keys and change purse were found at the handrail.
I've seen reports that the purse found by the alley belongs to an unrelated murder victim from this week.

Can any of you post with certainty where the police say her purse / keys were found?
 
I also noticed the boyfriend has "Dexter" up as his favorite show... but according to facebook, 23 of my friends do too... Let's not put blame on him because of a tv show.

My most serious question is: WHAT WAS HE DOING THAT NIGHT?????? WHY NO INFORMATION OF HIS WHEREABOUTS?
 
MB's lawyer, Ronald Chapman, told The Journal News today that his client did put CR to bed that morning, then watched as Spierer, a "friend," left. He said Beth was "stone sober," consuming no alcohol or drugs that night and morning, because he was studying at home, completing two papers that he turned in later that day.

"He made Corey go to bed," Chapman said. "He saw her walking out.

The shoes and phone were left at Kilroys. That is what earliest reports stated and persist to state.

The keys and purse are anyone's guess. The keys were apparently found in the gravel parking lot/on the handrail. We can assume Lauren had her keys at or around 2:30 when they entered her building. C is not a resident of the building. Lauren likely had to swipe them in.

I did a quick Facebook sweep and it seems a young man who went to HS and college with Lauren and appears to be close/good friends with her is also FB friends with JR and MB as well as JW. Wonder if he lived in the building as well. I say they appeared to be good friend as his profile pic is LS and himself hugging and they graduated from HS the same year and are both attending IU, slated to graduate the same year. For a better understanding the public HS they attended together had a total of 1000 kids spread across grades 7-12. Small school by most standards.

Looks like JW has changed his Facebook name to make him less searchable. Kind of odd to me to do during this period of time, but whatever.

Just to say this again: ALL these kids are east coast Jewish kids... It's an EXTREMELY tight knit community as they have been going to camps, temple, together all their lives.

I am Jewish from São Paulo, Brazil. I'm 24. I have a few Jewish American friends in NYC and most of those friends are friends in common on facebook with a lot of Lauren's friends. This is how TIGHT and connected this community is.
 
The other people of interest are believed to be male students who confronted CR when he and Spierer arrived at her building about 2:30 a.m. from a local bar.

Wonder if any of these individuals also showed up at CR's apartment building 2 days later to confront him (according to one of the attorneys, I believe).

There's a reason not to insert yourself into cases---could wind up on a POI list. Personally, I don't believe in this, even in the name of so-called justice (group of individuals going to possible POIs to verbally or otherwise confront them in the name of justice). That's what LE and other legitimate, organized groups are for. Ah, youth. MOO
 
And Jesse, the boyfriend, DEFINETLY changed his name on facebook. Really weird. But I guess he's entitled to privacy.
