The UID man's sketch and the picture do bear a resemblence. FWIW, the UID man in the sketch looks closer to a teenager (as is Dahvon) than the estimated age listed IMO.

I am curious about one thing: if the UID man was found alive but later died, why doesn't Doe have eye and hair color listed or access to dentals or DNA? All those items are N/A on the Doe listing, but clearly, that info should be available since the victim was found prior to his death.

I'm not super familiar with UID listings, so my apologies if this is a goofy question.

Okay, so I researched it a little further, and found Davhon's myspace and found that he isn't listed at the NCMEC website. Which makes me believe he isn't missing anymore.

I found another boy that's missing that might match...

Ok, maybe I'm only imagining this, but look at the UID's forhead, and look at Michael's forhead. I think I see a freckle or mole in the same area on both. Anyone else see this?

excellent match on the 2nd one.

The missingkids.com website lists his weight as 120lbs...I'm not sure how accurate that is, that's pretty skinny for being 5'7.

..but then again, maybe i'm just jealous because i'm 5'2 and weigh more than that and i'm a female :)

Okay, I just called Crime Stoppers and gave them the information. They asked me to call the homicide unit that's investigating the UID so I called them, and they put me through to the investigators voicemail. I left the information with them, along with my phone number so they can call me back. I'll be sure to keep everyone updated.

Santiago looks obviously transsexual and the UID doesn't look like he is. I know you cant go by looks alone, but usually trans don't go back to dressing straight. unless he was hiding for some reason....

Actually Tirrel resembles the UID quite a bit to me especially around the nose but the eyebrows are off to me. http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/s/santiago_tirrel.html

The UID was wearing two sets of clothing. Makes me wonder if he living a transient lifestyle.

Tirrel's Charley page indicates he "may dress in women's clothes," which could include cross-dressing and drag as well as transsexuality. Similar to Sage Smith in Virginia.

There's actually a police blotter report for him: http://nypost.com/2005/09/26/nypd-daily-blotter-1210/

I have a feeling this is Kejuan Sarter, but as he doesn't have dentals, DNA, or fingerprints in Namus, this would be difficult to prove. That being said, the picture they have seems to be a mugshot, which means his fingerprints must be on file somewhere.

Looks more like a driver's license or school ID photo to me, but the resemblance is very close and everything including the timeline is spot on.

I would go ahead and submit it. Often if there actually is a proposed match, that will get the ball rolling as far as finding identifiers.

Thanks for doing the side-by-side, Carbuff.

And on second look, you are right, it's not a mugshot.

I am submitting it. I'll keep you all posted.

Namus has emailed the investigating agency and passed this suggestion to them for follow-up (February 6th).
