Hi Search - I was going to post that HNL announced the 1500 page doc dump tomorrow! You beat me to it! :) Finally, we will have the long awaited doc dump! Guess I better rest my eyes tonight to get ready, huh?

Yep, I'll have my reading glasses ready...eyes are going on me...This is almost too much excitement after the long drought of nothing we have had over the last few months..

Cindy deposed for two days....Lee tomorrow and George next week (according to CNN).

I won't make a comment...Nada...Until all three of them have been DEPOSED. Ahh. Sigh. What a relief it will b e for these three clowns to have had their day in court. After that, surely, we can finally begin to see justice SERVED. On a silver platter. I am waiting out the week. Then the chit will roll!

: )

OK, Jose actually gave the state a compliment, by favorably comparing their depositions to Morgan's ? What's up ? Is this AL's doing ?

Sorry for the confusion, I meant since Andrea Lyons starting representing KC, I have not heard CA speak to the media. There was a lot speculation about CA's tearful appearance at court the day JB announced AL as KC's attorney. Maybe AL spoke with the A family and laid down some rules.

AL is a competent attorney. I'm sure she did. Every time the A's run their mouth they do more harm than good for Casey.

I would love to see these transcripts too, but just knowing that they are "in the hot seat" is enough to make my day...heck, it makes my whole year ! That picture of Cindy being led into the SA's office by a badge wearing cop...well, I have tears welling up right now.

Just saying the avatar looks great....

It did my black little ol' heart good to see her unable to avoid this one, too. This may be the way to get their cooperation, bushwhacking, so to speak. Surprise. . . . surprise.

Andrea Lyons has no say with regards to the Anthony's.

I'm guessing that Cindy appeared because she was subpeonaed and the state is making sure that she's there. I'm thinking that the state is pinning down everything that Cindy says, (and will be pinning down everything George and Lee say too) because they are going to be hostile prosecution witnesses.

FWIW, I may not like Cindy very much but I thought she looked really nice in the videoclip that I watched on WFTV. I wonder why Kathy Belich ended up being the only reporter to get tipped off that Cindy would be there yesterday? Maybe the escort for Cindy was because Cindy requested it or expected a big media scrum at her arrival to the courthouse.

Hoping someone can explain. If all parties are present and this is recorded and transcribed, wouldn't they already have a copy of the transcript? I'm clear about the SA requesting it prior to trial so they can use it; but I don't understand why any of the other parties would need to request it (since I figure they already have it?). Or is there other that were not present that can legally request it? Thanks

The parties would have transcripts but that doesn't make them public record. I heard a bit of a report on our local news that by having these depos the SA may be working out whether or not the A's would have to be declared as hostile witnesses. If so, they may need to file a motion and attach parts of the transcript that back up their motion... the filing of the motion with the attached transcript would then become public record under the Sunshine law. IIRC that's how we got to read parts of the depo transcript of the LE when JB filed a motion to seal the jail house video.

Does anyone know whether inconsistencies between this depo and Morgan's depo would be enough to have them declared hostile? It would be interesting to compare the two transcripts side by side. :read:

Patty, you are correct AL doesn't have any say in regards to the A's, she's not their attorney. However, you can bet that she DID advise them that by making any more "statements" or doing any more "interviews" is not in the best interest of Casey's case.

I'm not too sure the A's listen to anyone, but I would assume they would be more willing to listen to AL than to JB any day of the week.

To submit it to the court as evidence/support of a motion they cannot present a copy they transcribed themselves. The court's transcripts would be requested and provided as the official transcription of the depo. The "shorthand" notes will be kept on file but they won't be transcribed until someone requests them (and therefore pays for them).

JB will use the unofficial copy to see where the state is going with their questions and then if he can come up with another one of his creative motions about how is client can't get a fair trial he will need the official copy requested from the court to submit with that motion.

Sorry but I have to make a comment and it really isn't a "damn if you do damn if you don't" statement. I think being called by the State to give a deposition for a Murder Trial is a serious thing and BC CA and JB are too happy - This is serious business. This is for the murder trial of KC. And yes this is judgmental but to me it shows the mindset of the three.

I noticed in the video yesterday the Escort put her arm on CA's back when she saw media and was guiding CA but CA pulled away kinda walked out of her reach. She didn't look happy about the Escort's assistance.

I agree. It seemed she did not wish for the officer to touch her. She physically pulled away. I saw that too.

This is video of everybody leaving the depo yesterday. At about the halfway mark, a reporter asks Jose Baez "why were you here today?" Baez responds "it had nothing to do with the defense, that's all I can say."

HUH??? Why else would he be there if not for Casey's defense? I really don't get this.

Jose is there because he can be. He is the attorney for the accused and so he is getting his info firsthand straight out of the horses mouth so to speak by attending the deposition.

And, Cindy was lying about the computer not working being the reason that she couldn't produce the documents. She sent emails during that time.

How do you know she sent emails during that time if you don't mind me asking?

So does anyone know if Cindy was in there all day today? She was in all morning and then returned after lunch...they are being REALLY thorough with Mrs. Anthony aren't they? I cannot imagine being the poor soul who is taking these depos...horror of horrors to depose Cindy for this many hours...

I can't imagine CA being able to: 1) tell the truth, or,2) avoid contradicting herself for an entire workday.

May these depositions help clarify information that is crucial. The Anthony Family has had us under their spell with their story spinning. The public and the courts have been patient long enough. Caylee is really dead, and this isn't a game.

Can't wait to see if CA ever fesses up that they had an argument the day KC left. She flat denied it before. None of them would know truth if it bit them on the butt.

Just my humble opinion
