Hi All.
It is so sad to see each other under these circumstances, but I'm happy to see some of your names pop up again.
It saddens me that we still have these other cases hanging out there. While the outcome of Keighley's case is the worst possible outcome, there will be closure for her family.
I really think that Kelsey's case helped the police know what to do right away here. I just wish we could prevent it from happening again!

Fortunately/Unfortunately (however you look at it) you're missing out on the full effects of the trauma that is myspace gadgets and sound and wallpapers. There was a scrolling background of marijuana leaves, a video on marijuana (I didn't watch it) and the Gansta Paradise song playing. But at least his awesome picture of himself is still up.

It's nice seeing you again! I've been somewhat MIA lately. I've got a lot going on with my mom.
I haven't heard, or read, but I wonder what led LE to where her body was located? This may be out there (or even on this thread), but I haven't had the time to read about what's going on with this case. I am just glad they found her.
It would be nice if we could prevent this from happening again.

Alyea’s family has planned a candlelight vigil for the young woman at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Westside Family Church, 8500 Woodsonia Drive in Lenexa.
Alyea lived with Beebe’s family for several years. Beebe and others said they watched Hilt display irrational behavior around Alyea. They also saw bruises, which Alyea told them that Hilt had inflicted, said Beebe’s brother, Chris Monslow, 16, of Kansas City, Kan.
Monslow had been friends with Hilt and Alyea. The two used crack cocaine together, but the relationship and her drug use stopped.

Police had been searching two homes in Johnson County, Kan., earlier in the day -- one in Overland Park and the other in Shawnee. Policed collected evidence and took pictures at each of the scenes.
The body was found in a field near East 235th Street and State Route K just north of Harrisonville. The public information officer for the Cass County sheriff told KCTV5's Greg Adeline that the body was found near the north fence line. The body was found about a quarter to a half mile away from the roadway.

Dillard said that within the last few weeks Alyea woke up one night to the sound of Hilt tapping on her window. When she woke up, she realized that Hilt also had tried to contact her several times by phone, but the phone was on vibrate and she didn’t hear it.

Beebe told KCTV5 that she wasn't surprised that Dustin Hilt was one of three men charged with Alyea's slaying. She said Hilt and Alyea dated for about two years and he was violent and controlling toward her.
"He's abusive,” Beebe said. "He's so abusive. He beat her and she was scared of him."
Last Tuesday night, Beebe spent the night at Alyea's apartment and she said she tried to warn her to stay away from Hilt. But she said her advice was ignored. It was the last time Beebe saw her friend alive.
"I knew Dustin had something to do with it from day one," she said. "When I was at her house she was talking about going to get Dustin. I tried to talk her out of it. I fell asleep and she left."

Sorry - but I was thinking the same thing. Why would an 18-year-old girl have been involved in an abusive relationship at such a young age? What is wrong with these kids?!?!?!? And their parents?
If any of my daughter's boyfriends had laid a hand on her at that age - or any age - it would have been their last act on this earth!
She was found in a grassy field by a fence, near 235th and K Hwy in Missouri. The area is near East Lynne, Missouri. East Lynne is about 6 miles from Harrisonville, Mo, where the murder of Cara Roberts is still unsolved. No similarities, I'm sure.

The Harringtons wanted to thank Kinko's, who donated their printing services. They ask that friends take time to make posters and put together pictures of Alyea for Wednesday night's vigil. It's at 7:30 at Westside Family Church in Lenexa near 83rd and K7.

According to news report from fox4kc the tattoo of "Dustin" will be removed before burial. Glad to see it. Dont have the link, as it was just at the end of the news broadcast.

Alyea’s relatives recognize Hilt. His first name is tattooed on Alyea’s back. However, her father wants it removed prior to Alyea’s funeral. “He said there is no way his daughter is going to be buried with (Dustin’s) name on her body,” Frentrop said.

Police told the family Alyea’s killers attacked her last Wednesday in Overland Park. They said the suspects drove the girl to rural Cass County to dump her body.
“Somewhere along the drive out east of Harrisonville, she regained consciousness and at that time, they had the option to do the right thing and they chose to finish killing her,” Frentrop said.

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- The father of one of the men charged with murdering 18-year-old Keighley Alyea told KCTV5 exclusively he is in shock over the charges against his 18-year-old son.
"Its a helpless feeling," Derek Bohlken, father of Gerald Scott Calbeck, said.
Bohlken said he's dealing with shock, pain and disbelief. His son was one of three men charged Tuesday with the murder of Alyea.
"He's 18 but he's still a kid to us," Bohlken said. "He's never been violent, never been in trouble. It's devastating."
