Boy, we quickly seperated those who are older or younger than 45, didn't we? LOL!
My cryptic messages were from the Beatles. During the latter part of their career, there was a rumor that Paul McCartney had died and the other Beatles were putting hidden clues about his death in their songs. "Glass Onion" contained the line "Here's another clue for you all - the walrus was Paul" - a reference to the song "I am the Walrus". People immediately started theorizing that the walrus was an eskimo symbol for death. The line "Paul is a dead man - miss him" could be found by playing "Revolution Number Nine" backwards (dope made us do some really stupid things back then). The truely ironic thing about the idea that Paul was dead is that it looks like he may end up outliving the other three Beatles.
And 37 years after they broke up, they are among the highest selling artists in 2007. Not bad for four lads from Liverpool.
