US Marshals Selling Rita Crundwell Jewelry
The U.S. Marshals Service is selling 351 lots of jewelry, including that of convicted former comptroller of Dixon, Ill., Rita Crundwell, and other fine jewelry, watches, gold bullion and coins via a live and Web simulcast auction Saturday at 10 a.m. CST in Fort Worth, Texas, and at www.txauction.com.

Can someone count the watches??? I ran out of wrists, then fingers & toes!
Too bad I can't afford that rose gold Rolex or the chocolate diamond earrings.
I find the number of crosses more disturbing than the number of wristwatches!

2 more of Rita Crundwell’s houses sell in Dixon
Crundwell’s brother, Richard Humphrey Sr. bought a house and 40 acres of farmland for about $600,000. Dixon residents Wesley and Tammi Sherman bought another house for $400,000. Crundwell’s nephew previously purchased her horse ranch for $1.1 million.

State charges dropped against ex-Dixon comptroller Rita Crundwell
Prosecutors today dropped all remaining charges against a former city comptroller who recently began serving a lengthy federal prison sentence for stealing nearly $54 million from her northern Illinois community.
