Russellville police say the bones of what they believe is a small child's foot were located Saturday night. They spent Sunday trying to locate the origins of the bones.
The remnants were located near a subdivision off Circle Drive in Russellville. Police Chief Chris Hargett tells me they took the remains to the emergency room at Russellville Hospital to verify if this was a human foot.
An on-call bone specialist looked at the remains and said it mirrored that of a small child's foot.

I was under the impression that it was an intact undecomposed foot, but that isn't what this article says...

Here's another article on that same website, that appears to be updated. This one was updated just after 6pm today (9/22)....

"They feel the foot had not been detached long because of its condition. Right now their goal is trying to find out where it came from."

They are saying now that the foot was intact (not a bone). I don't know if this could be connected to Caylee, but it certainly is interesting that there are no missing children in the area (that have been reported yet). Creepy!

I don't believe it has anything to do with this case.

I don't think so either. If it were in fact a bone, I would say maybe. But if it is an actual child's foot, it doesn't seem likely that it could be Caylee seeing how long she's been missing now. Unless of course someone has been keeping her alive all this time. I don't buy that though.

All I know is some family is going to get closure, and that is important to all of us Sleuthers.
