What do you think was in that cup? Grape juice? I'm wondering what other options besides meds. What do you think could be in it?
 
I believe this girl did babysit Gabriel, that Elizabeth was rude to her for being late, and that she fed him a bottle. That's pretty much all I believe out of her. JMO.

Thanks for your response. I thought it was odd that Nancy was focusing on some of these things. Maybe she's a real helicopter parent or something, but she seems to be trying to prove that EJ was completely neglecting her son because she only had 3 jars of baby food, 2 bottle, 1 can of formula, and no sterilizer. Yikes, if that is the case, I am not nearly as good of a mother as I thought. LOL.

I have a love/hate relationship with NG. I LOVED the way she went after Casey Anthony, and also Scott Peterson. But she gets on my nerves a lot too. I'm just really thrown off by the way she is focusing on what IMO are minor details in this case, and yet she won't call the babysitter, or the Smith's out on their lies and get to the bottom of it. I've seen a couple posts on here questioning if EJ could have paid the babysitter, and I don't believe that AT ALL. But I HAVE to admit, I've wondered if TPS did. The babysitter DID come out right about the same time the Smith's changed their tune and started talking about how horrible EJ is instead of supporting her. But that's the only theory I've come up with, other than the spotlight theory. JMO.

I'm less concerned about WHAT it is, than WHAT is IN it. There are very few options as juice goes for baby's Gabe's age. NONE of them are red, except MAYBE a flavor of Pedialyte??? I'm unsure of that, but it's the only thing I could come up with.

Why would the Smiths call EJ in SA and offer their lawyer to help EJ get custody of Gabriel when they knew very well that is not what she wanted?

If EJ found someone or group of people to help with an adoption, I don't think she waited until she got to SA to do that. I think she looked and found or was offered some info as to where to go to find contacts. She seemed to have her ducks in a row pretty quickly after she arrived in SA. She got her false ID and a SA cellphone. LE said they were trying to find out who gave it to her. I don't know why she couldn't have just bought one, but LE said "gave". The baby items on the bed, small toys, tylenol, medicine or teething cup, book and maybe other things, make me wonder if someone didn't pack her a "baby kit" . I haven't heard what EJ was doing for those days Gabriel was with the Smith's. Could have been finding info or contacts before she went to SA. JMO

I was convinced it was this medicine dispenser by the straight edges and rounded ends on the bottom sides of both objects.

If it is the teether, where is the ring? In Gabriel's mouth?

For size perspective, I took a standard little medicine cup (the kind that comes with Pepto), put a nipple on top and set it next to a baby's hand. Look how giant that tiny little cup looks! This hand is certainly a bit smaller than Gabe's, but is the closest available right now. Even imagining the hand to be bigger, though, you can still see how even a small cup like this looks large next to a baby's hand.

I just think it's the infant tylenol.

I think the cup only holds about 4t at its rim. There wouldn't be much point in putting juice in a cup that small.

Also, on NG last night, she asked the babysitter what Gabe had in his mouth, and the sitter said (paraphrasing) that it was the bottle with medicine for him. I will search for a link if the transcript is available, but I am not as fast as most of you with this stuff, so bear with me. NG was also having difficulties getting the right picture up on the screen, so it is possible the sitter was talking about the actual bottle with the dropper which he had in his hand... but, IIRC, NG asked what he was sucking on, so I don't think so.

Not always. There are still quite a few missing kids who are never found one way or another, and no closure as to what happened to them. Sorry for the gloomy outlook but there just seems to be a few of those I have heard about through the years.

I agree. She did not seem to have many good examples in her life and to her she may very well have thought she looked her best. I wish we could see more examples in pictures of how she dressed.

If that's Tylenol, then that was WAY too much of it. My son is the same age as Gabe, and I'm only supposed to give him like .4 to .8 ml. It's to the first line on the dropper lid (Sorry, I know to fill it to the first line, I just can't remember if it's .4 or .8 ml without looking at the bottle). Also, it doesn't make sense that for a TINY dose of Tylenol, she would drop it into that medicine cup/feeder thing. JMO
