WFTV reporter Jeff Deal was there as Porter was booked into the Waldo County jail in Belfast, Tuesday night.

“Were you dealing drugs with Perdomo?” WFTV reporter Jeff Deal asked.

“Not as much as they would like to think,” Porter replied. :what:

"Det. Cotton said that Porter's eyes welled up with tears when Porter was told that police have retrieved the bag," according to the warrant.

The report states that investigators believe Porter shot Perdomo in the head, due to the skull fragments that were found in the home.

I think they need to arrest the girlfriend of Porter, as well. She knows something or even participated in the crime.

What actually happened to him ?? Based on Cheyannes' posts via Facebook, she seemed to know that he was already dead.... I think they need to question her further, and it looks like she's not just an 'innocent' caught up in all of this.

I don't know if buying a gun on January 20th would prove premeditation? Jerry had a gun too? Drug dealers usually carry guns. It comes with the business.

DP is definitely going to try for self-defense!! He's going to say that Jerry was the aggressor and he feared for his life. He's going to say that it was Jerry who drove all the way up to Maine. That Jerry had a gun. That Jerry wanted his money. He's going to use Jerry's size and military background against him.

It may even work enough to lessen the charges.

It may not even be far from the truth? Who knows? We'll see how it plays out?

"The State Medical Examiner's Office has just arrived at the scene and additional information will be released this afternoon," according to a statement released by the Maine Department of Public Safety. "The discovery came shortly after a search effort had begun this morning in the continuing investigation into the disappearance and homicide of Jerry Perdomo."

A news conference will be held at 3 p.m. to discuss the development.

As i posted yesterday its all very sad to see it confirmed that the end was tragic just like many of us thought... So while making it no less tragic it is however refreshing to see a case come to resolution and closure for the famiy...

I am extremely impressed with this LE and have a renewed hope and faith that this same agency of LE that is currently handling precious Ayla Reynolds case as well...
just further confirmation that this agency willbring closure and justice for Ayla and her loved ones... The DiPietros should be worried...

Chayenne Nowak did speak to police. She said that Porter told her to meet Perdomo in Newburgh, Maine. She said she did around 6:30p on Feb 16



She left around 7p to pick up her son.



Porter and Perdomo were still at Porter's home at the time.



She tried to call Porter, but his phone was off. She texted Perdomo.



She came back to the home around 9p



Perdomo and his car were both gone, she said.


Porter told her that Perdomo went to see Lisa.

Its the footage where Porter is leaving his dads house with police...not only is he again seen smiling and laughing, but most important is what fellow Seminole Co. firefighter, Tovak states in the video. Tovak is one of the ff that came to Maine to find Jerry, Tovak was at the end of the driveway and witnessed Porter led out and leaving with LE(as i said where u can clearly see him grinning and even laughing).. Tovak says most disturbing was that when the car got to the end of the drive where the firefighters were standing that Porter actually rolled down the window and literally began to wave at them as the car was pulling off from his father's home!! WTF?! :devil:

Ok i understand human nervous reactions such as smiling or perhaps even laughing at inappropriate times.. I totally get that, but im sorry but what Tovak witnessed Porter doing is far beyond a nervous human reaction.. It is sick! And imo it is these exact type behaviors that are painting a much different picture of who Porter is...starkly contrasting from the seemingly normal, naive, young man that has been stated earlier.....imo this is sadistic type behavior!
 
The dog who led authorities directly to a body off Dahlia Rd in Newburgh, ME that is believed to be Perdomo(no positive ID yet).. The property that the body was found is said to belong to the Porter family..

Is the type of dog specified? Just wondering as there have been some cases with dogs lately that always make me wonder, are they using the right dogs, etc...just wondering if this was a specially trained cadaver or human remains dog.
