that is IF the part of his confession is TRUE about Stephany even being on his computer.

Alright ~ why would he leave his computer on and leave her alone in the room with it. And why didn't he take her with him to get the coffee, or take the laptop with him? This isn't making much sense to me at all. MOO
 
So we're supposed to believe he had time in 20 minutes to savagely beat a woman to death, take a shower, pack up & leave. Nah, I don't buy this timeline.

I agree with you....He is known to tell lies....He HAS to say SOMETHING to defend WHY he killed her...yeah...This little girl was going to hurt me????

It isn't the American reporters, its the different languages, and the faulty translations, imo. The original story about the 2 Colombian women was in a Spanish language publication. Not sure if it was Peruvian or Colombian.
I am grateful for Jean Cazarez, since she seems to speak Spanish fluently and has a better chance of getting the story as accurately reported as it is being told to her.

I can't really say there aren't any. On JVM, there was some talk of an "urban legend" sort of thing.

I searched a large number of Colombian newspaper and only found 2 article in one of them which only reported the basic news of Stephany's murder and capture of JVS.

Jean Casarez said she'd contacted Colombian police and they said they weren't doing any such investigation.

For now, I'd say it's probably a rumor that got started. There could be some truth to it, but Colombian LE are sitting on it.

Authorities say they have surveillance all over so maybe they have a timeline from that.
 
Oh it hurts listening to Nancy. 90 minutes later he leaves in another outfit from when he originally went into the hotel. That is BS. It is ~3.5 hours later that he walks out of the hotel in another outfit.

According to Peruvian defense attorneys, he confessed in the context of a manslaughter charge, hopefully to get a reduced sentence. If he wants to get a manslaughter charge, he has to make it appear that he killed her accidentally, on the spur of the moment.

In Peru, mitigating factors, the use of an intoxicant....plead guilty will be a lesser sentence.

I'm not buying that at all either. If he left it on and left her alone in the room he's a bigger idiot than he looks. And don't tell me Stephany is the first woman he's encountered in five years who just connected the dots between him and Natalee.

To be PC, maybe there's a misprint on her cue cards or notes. When she keeps repeating it, it makes me think she's reading the wrong info over & over again. I don't know how she tapes her show, does she use cue cards?
 
Michael Griffith is on the phone with NG questioning why Stephany was even going to the hotel room in the first place. He mentioned her bowed head, following behind Joran, not being sexually interested in him, etc.
 
That:
Joran comes in in white shirt with Stephany.
Gets in shower or nakid to make a move on her.
Kills her.
Puts back on what he was wearing when they first entered the room.
Went for coffee.
Comes back to make it look like there was no time to kill her.
Changes and leaves.
