No worries. He is mentioned as both Bill and William elsewhere in the forum which is why I added both names. I just wanted to make the search easier for anyone wishing to search back within the forum for this info.

If you put last name only in. ie: Sharp .... first names of children come up. If you click on the names, the info of when they were born comes up along with the mother's maiden name and if the child is still alive, how old she would be now.

So... searching if Anna had a child and Anna's last name is was/is Sharp.... Have fun, and Good Luck!

Please correct me if I am wrong but seems to me that it has been mentioned that this person was giving similar names to rhyme? Name can be similar to Anna....

They just need additional field mother's maiden name
 
I was looking through the photos released from Rodney Alcala's storage locker in 2010 (all photos were taken before July 1979), and this photo struck me as potentially a 6 or 7 year old Anna: http://seattletimes.com/html/photogalleries/localnews2011323273/12.html.

I can't see the mole on the right side of the UID's face, but the resemblance to Anna was striking to me, so I wanted to post it for feedback.

Maybe Anna was abducted by a stranger?

Compare the first photo of this pic of Anna, posted in a photo album by Annasmom: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/album.php?albumid=529&pictureid=3899 (which I love to look at BTW).

Not so much? Or maybe?
 
I can see how the two look similar. What causes me to think the RA photo is not Anna is the straight, thinner hair. Anna's hair is naturally curly.

Thanks for your input, PepperP. Am always glad to see posters new to Anna's case.
 
I have not gone back to that thread with the photo of the blonde child, there was some discussion that perhaps that child was a boy.

On the other hand, there are some similarities despite the non curly hair. I think the hair is too straight to be Anna.

Just making note as I reread SFA, on pg 93 it is noted George Waters was driving a gray 1970 Volkswagen.
 
Wow, new details. A Volkswagen certainly has a distinct look. Where did the van suggestion start?
All this time, we thought a white van. All this time I visualized Anna being put into the back of a van. Closed sides, no windows.
Not saying it was the Volkswagen on that day, but hanks Cubby for this update.
 
Based on rereading SFA it was Craig B, the friend of Joe Fords, who saw the white van just prior to arriving at the house the day Anna disappeared.

I left the book in the car, but it was either the school bus driver or the post woman who saw a white car.

Two different sightings by two different people on that day.
