I would not be one bit surprised if Natalee was not his first victim. I think he killed before her.

I wonder if he tortured animals when he was little???

I know I read somewhere his mother said he often fought with his little brother.

Hmmmm? Most serial killers start out killing animals.

I don't have a link, but it was discussed here earlier that he had beaten his own dog to death.

IIRC, there is a possibility he did. :cry: I don't remember the source other than reading it here.
 
Regarding the password protect for his laptop..IF..he was doing a lot of traveling (wasn't he?) and having to leave his laptop in various hotel rooms, IMO..he would MOST LIKELY password protect it....That would make sense...

By the way...I don't...for 1 minute...believe his story..

HE HAS to say...SHE STARTED IT...(she probably started it.....by trying to leave)...IMO...

Yes Jean C was talking about that he can get a pass by the president of the country and serve his time in Aruba, however her father is well known. He ran for office a couple of times, and was a race car driver, I believe.

Thanks... didn't know that computer viruses could be diverted by password protecting. All of my financial files are protected.

Exactly what I believe. She refused him. She said no. She tried to fight him off of her. And he killed her.

What I do anticipate are her toxicology results and if he had drugged her. MOO

I just pray Stephany's father does have influence and can keep Joran in prison for the maximum sentence ~ whether it is in number of years sentenced or his own demise while there. I just don't see him as being a model prisoner or surviving in the conditions that have been described. MOO

I don't have a password protection on my computer. I never thought about it. I have a MAC and no problems with viruses.

From what I've heard I think he'll get the maximum. They are a very close community. They all love Stephany, they are very upset about this.

It seems if she had been drugged she wouldn't have been able to have defense wounds were she fought back trying to protect herself from the blows from the wooden tennis racket. Nor do I think someone in the hostel could have heard her and Joran arguing if she was in a sedated state.

If that had been the case and he killed her she most likely would have died in the bed not sprawled out on the floor. She seemed very lucid to me when she is walking into the room.

I really don't think she knew anything about Joran and his tie to Natalee. If she had known beforehand imo she would have never gone with him to be alone with him in the first place.

Imo, her death had nothing to do with sex. He could have easily overpowered her to have sex with her and he wouldn't have waited three or more hours to rape and murder her imo. They may have gone back to relax and play some online gambling on the computer with plans to go back to the casino later on. It was obvious that they both had no sexual interest in each other. Joran just likes to pretend the women he meets wanted to have sex with him. It feeds his engorged psychopathic ego to pretend.

I do believe he did terrorize her when he discovered she had found out who he really was and when she wanted to leave.

He couldn't let her spoil it for him. He knew she would tell others at the casino who he really was and her friends too.

In his twisted evil mind she had crossed him and Joran gets even with anyone that he thinks goes up against him.

Why didn't Joran legally change his name if he was worried about people finding out his connection with Natalee?

Did he buy hair dye when he went to buy bread and coffee?

First time poster here....but have been following this case.
And I so agree, her head was bowed because she knew she was being taped and did not want to be recognized. Anyways that's exactly what I would have done to avoid my face being seen.

The great thing about that is the forensic computer experts will know if she had to be the one accessing it especially if they know the time he left the room and when he returned and the convenience store probably has a surveillance camera in place too.
