I'm glad you only said 99% sure because I think it's a tilt flatbed truck. Where I work sometimes we need a bigger tow motor than what we have, and when they deliver it, it's on a flatbed that tilts up about 45 degrees and then slides down behind the truck horizontally, and then the tow motor is just driven off at ground level.

Very similar to the one in this aerial shot of DM's farm :)

That orange plate is probably the bed, and it looks like there's a piece of equipment still on it.

Whew Im sure happy I said 99% too see there's always room for doubt. the picture I had originally looked at does not show a truck just what appears to be as I said a conveyor. thank you for all the input fellow sluethers and sluethettes please forgive my spelling as I said Im A construction guy. :seeya:

What do you mean by DM has another friend back. I thought his fb page was closed.

Millard attended the Toronto French School and according to a relative – who did not want to be identified –Millard may have been influenced by other people.


“He can go and buy himself six new ones like that and it wouldn’t even hurt his bank account. There’s no need for him to [go] after that truck,” the relative said. “There’s other people, other things involved; I’ve no idea what.”

The relative of Millard’s said they e-mailed occasionally and had a good relationship but were not an extremely close family.
 
How can DM be accessing his FB page to accept friend requests? (I got into this case late and didn't get a chance to look at it before it was closed down). Who is AM?

I don't think AM ever unfriended him. AM keep activating and deactivating his profile. When he deactivates, he also disappears from friend lists. When he reactivates, he reappears.

DM buys a farm property in Ayr, ON in May 2011.

Mr. Millard bought the land in the municipality of Ayr for $835,000 in cash in May, 2011. He told his real estate agent that he planned to use it to build a dream home with his fiancée.

DM goes to Baja, Mexico for race in 2011 (not sure on date).

Goes skydiving and other trips/activities with friends in Aug 2011.

So he has a farm property while he takes off to various places all over the world following the purchase. What was the real reason for buying this property, I wonder? He was into renovating, and buying properties, not building new homes, from what I can tell.

Or, perhaps they brought in Det-Sgt Jim Smyth...OPP behavioural interviewer extraordinaire? (He'd be calling him Dell by now, possibly Bud, right?)

Aside: for those not familiar, Jim Smyth was the interrogator in the Col. Russell Williams case. If you haven't had a chance to watch the video of the interrogation, you should! Text book psychology. Better than any TV show. He also found little Tori Stafford's body by following a hunch AND interviewed the culprits in that case.

I am just 46 min into the RW interrogation you speak of on vimeo.com and yes Jim's voice is very calming and would make anyone want to trust him and open up....yes, worth watching for sure...sometimes my gf likes me to tell her stories about current events so my voice helps her sleep....this guy puts me to shame haha

Could it be as simple as him receiving access to a trust left to him by his grandfather? Maybe it was kept until he DM turned 25 (2011)?? Anyone know when his birthday is?
