Right, this says the same:
Manhattan wine critic Alice Feiring did not see herself in the newly released portraits, but she told cops she had a close call with the killer when she was just 13.
Feiring said Alcala persuaded her to go to his East Village apartment in 1968 and then locked her inside. She said she managed to escape.
"I just thought he was a pervert," Feiring said.

Little more info here on a few subjects, such as:
Alice Feiring was just 13 when she met the captivating cameraman at the St. Marks Bookstore that same year. "We talked about existentialism," said Feiring, a wine critic.
The conversation led Feiring back to Alcala's E. Sixth St. apartment, where he snapped pictures - and encouraged the underage girl to shed her shirt.
Feiring wanted to bolt. Alcala, who had locked the door, said no - but she managed to escape.

This link has already been posted but just wanted to point out it gives more details on the girls they are looking into that went missing around Seattle
"Detectives are saying there are similarities between Alcala's victims in the 1970s in California and the slayings of a 13-year-old and a 17-year-old in the Seattle area.
While DNA is being requested in those two slayings, the King County Sheriff's department is also looking into the case of a 19-year-old that vanished in the mid 70s. "

"Two of the pictures may have been taken after the women were murdered. Prosecutor Matt Murphy said: “We’d like to locate the women in these pictures. Did they simply pose for a serial killer or did they become victims of his sadistic, murderous pattern? "
....
"Retired Huntington Beach detective Steve Mack, who worked on the Alcala case until 2008, also wanted the pictures made public to help solve the mystery. 'He definitely was involved in more murders than we know of,' said Mack, who fears the body count could top 20 before the investigation is finally closed."

Cold-case detectives also pieced together that Alcala - who studied film under Roman Polanski and has a genius-level IQ - had used an alias while he lived in New York.
The alias was John Berger, a name that was found mentioned in Hover's case file, the source said.

Serial Killer Rodney Alcala Indicted in 2 More Murders
Crilley, a 23-year-old TWA flight attendant, was raped and strangled in 1971. At the time, authorities initially suspected Crilley's boyfriend was responsible. Authorities now reportedly have forensic evidence that links Alcala to the scene.

Hover, also 23, was a Manhattan socialite. In 1977, her body was found on the Rockefeller estate in suburban Westchester County. Investigators found a datebook inside Hover's apartment that showed she had an appointment with a "John Berger" on the day she was killed. According to police, John Berger is an alias Alcala has used in the past. Reports say he has admitted to knowing Hover but denies killing her.<snipped>

Alcala visited Denmark in the 1970s and two of his photos are of teenage girls taken outside Copenhagen’s Central Station. However, Danish police made contact with the women in March and established that neither were victims of Alcala’s.

Serial killer Rodney Alcala linked to unsolved 1977 slaying
Investigators in the Bay Area believe they've linked the unsolved 1977 slaying of a young woman to convicted serial killer Rodney Alcala.
Pamela Jean Lambson, 19, went missing in 1977 after a trip to Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco to meet with a man who'd offered to photograph her. According to her mother, Jean Lambson, her daughter met the long unidentified photographer at an Oakland A's baseball game, where he gave the teen his business card.
Her body was found soon after near a Marin County trail. For more than 30 years, her killing went unsolved until last year, when Marin County sheriff's investigators reopened the case after getting word from authorities in Southern California about the prosecution of Alcala.

California's highest court has cleared the way for a convicted serial killer to be brought to New York to face charges in two 1970s killings.
It wasn't clear how soon Rodney Alcala, who's awaiting execution in California for five 1970s stranglings, might be brought to a Manhattan court. The California Supreme Court on Wednesday rejected his bid to block extradition, according to court records.

Quote:
Rodney Alcala was scheduled for arraignment Thursday for the deaths of Trans World Airlines flight attendant Cornelia Crilley and aspiring researcher Ellen Hover, both 23.
It was unclear who would represent Alcala or even whether he would have a lawyer. A former photographer with an IQ said to top 160, Alcala represented himself at his California trial that ended with his convictions in 2010 for the five murders. He is appealing.

Alcala admits killing 2 women in N.Y.
Convicted serial killer is on death row for five California slayings in the 1970s under a sentence imposed by an Orange County judge.
Convicted serial killer Rodney Alcala, who was sentenced to death by an Orange County judge in 2010 for five sex slayings in the 1970s, confessed Friday to killing two other women in New York.
Alcala, 69, pleaded guilty in a Manhattan courtroom to two counts of intentional murder for the 1971 rape and bludgeoning of airline stewardess Cornelia Crilley, 23, and the 1977 kidnapping and slaying of Ellen Hover, 23, whose body was found a year later in nearby Westchester County.
