BREAKING NEWS: Manhunt launched as detectives probe quadruple murder at Northampton home
Murder probe as bodies of university lecturer, his wife and daughters aged 11 and 18 are found in affluent villageA QUADRUPLE murder investigation has been launched after the bodies of four people were found in a family home in Northampton.
Police were called to Pioneer Close in Simpson Manor, near Wootton, at about 6pm last night.
The bodies of Jifeng Ding, aged 46, and 47-year-old Helen Chui were found downstairs in the property. Their children, Xing Ding, aged 18 and 11-year-old Alice, were found dead upstairs. All four are believed to be of Chinese origin.
A murder hunt has now been launched with police searching for the attackers. All four victims are understood to have suffered multiple knife wounds.

Mr Ding, known as Jeff, was a senior lecturer in the Division of Chemical and Environmental Science at Manchester Metropolitan University.
Mrs Ding is understood to have been a teacher at a school in Northampton.
The area surrounding the property remained sealed off today as forensics teams continue to carry out a fingertip search of the road.
